I can't believe it took us so long to make the short side trip off I5 to finally visit Fidalgo Coffee, which we have known about for years through our local co-op. Shay(sp?) was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was relaxed for tasting and discussing coffee minutiae. We particularly appreciate their organic selection. December 2025: In this era of medium & light roast. One in which you bring a cup of coffee to your face, to your lips, into your mouth. OH LAWD! Literally the best espresso beans I’ve ever put through my Breville. Grinds, tamps, and perfect pressure every single shot that is made. Taste is 10/10 and the caffeine is just enough to make me stay awake but not send me into another dimension. I will go to every store until I find Fidalgo espresso beans before cheating on them with an off brand.
