Contacted Olive Garden in Mount Vernon about a birthday celebration with 12 family members, spoke to Oscar the manager and he was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We then had the birthday party for our daughter. The servers Stacy B., Charlotte M. and Aliyah T. treated us wonderfully, were friendly and great to deal with! Very nice dinner experience, the employees of Olive Garden made it a special birthday, thank you!

My family wanted to go to Olive Garden. My body does not tolerate garlic. I asked the server what on the menu did NOT have garlic. She went to the kitchen for the answer. She returned saying the kitchen says "everything on the menu except the tomato sauce has garlic". Are you kidding me? I watched them eat. I of course - will never return to eat.

Food was pretty tasty, nice large portions. Kids meals were great and again plenty of it. Appetizers were on spot. Service was excellent !!!

The lunch special is a very good deal and the food and service are reliably good, but $6 a piece for little dishes of dipping sauce is ridiculous!! Also, I really don't like being called sweetheart (twice) by some one I don't know, in this case the person who seated me.

Not sure what constitutes an 'employee emergency' but that is the reason we were given this past Friday when, not only did the entrees take over an hour and come 5min apart, but the breadsticks didn't come till almost finished with salad. Slow always sucks, but slow service AND bad timing is really annoying.

To their credit they did acknowledge the < par service (& w/o either of us having to say anything) & we took home a really yummy pumpkin cheesecake dessert on the house.

Still wonder if it was a staff shortage or if a cook cut off a finger, but just cuz I'm nosy -lol

Are they understaffed? They took our server and sent him somewhere else. Party group spent the whole time without service, and they only came to check on us at the end of dinner. When I asked another server for water, they were rude about it. The manager apologized, but I'm still upset about it. It just ruined the whole experience. I recommend hiring more staff if you can't take good care of your customers.
