Visited this spot on my way back to Vancouver from Seattle. Very warm welcome and friendly service. We ordered two pizzas, one with slow roasted and the other one was the buffalo chicken. The slow roast was amazing, the waiter was kind enough to bring us au jus to dip the crust, which was divine.

It was our first time passing through the area and we stopped on a whim for a quick lunch.

The service was fantastic, the bar itself feels like it could've been a great idea - but the rustic wooden table got me caught up and tore a hole in my dress and the floors were sticky.

The sandwiches we got, a chop sandwich and the birria torta were pretty low on the list of things we'd order again. I think the chef thought since the sandwiches were wet that a heartier bread would be good but the way it was... Old? Toasted? Presented? Not quite understanding where it went - but it was hard and cut when bitten into. The torta was only even edible because it was given a side of birria inspired au jus that made the bread soft enough to bite through. Without it we'd both have had to pick the fillings out of our sandwiches and call that the meal.

I had the Torta la Via sandwich with a Caesars Salad. It was outstanding & served with a consomme dipping sauce. I can't recommend this meal enough!

I'm giving 4 stars for the food because they don’t offer dedicated plant-based or vegan options. However, they are willing to modify two of their pizzas—Athens and Funguy—to remove all animal products. I tried the Funguy, a mushroom-based pizza, and it was actually pretty good.

Just a heads-up: if you're a fan of traditional Neapolitan-style pizza, this may not quite hit that mark. The crust is thinner, and the dough is prepped with a generous amount of semolina or corn flour, giving it a different texture and bite. They do mention that the dough is fermented for 24 hours, which adds a nice flavor complexity.

WARNING: RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. On the phone, these folks said they could serve us but when we came in denied us service contradicting what they said on the phone . The party entering was of non Caucasian appearance.

I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. Whether you're hanging out with friends or as a family. The food is good and has arcade games for family fun.

Sandwiches are not as good as the pub, service and atmosphere were great. Pizza was a bit under cooked for brick oven style.

I admit i am picky about my pizza. I like a good balance between 1) crust, 2) cheese/toppings, and 3) sauce (which is marinara or nothing for me). This is my first visit here and sadly the pizza was a "swing and a miss". Crust was so SO thin in the entire middle that is was like a wet napkin ... while the crust was great...nice and crispy and robust. So, a weird mix. I lift the crust and the whole rest of the slice is immediately hangs straight down as half of the very abundant meat toppings drop off. So it took two hands to kinda guide the slice to my pie hole. ? Cheese-wise... pretty light, as in i had to look closely just now. Light on the sauce. Huge amounts of meat on the Trainwreck pizza i ordered. Which can be good but alas there was almost no crust so it felt like i was eating a meat dish served on dough doily. And am literally going home and finding some more carbs to eat. Its all good...now i know...im skipping the pizza when i am here. Again, this is a personal review of mostly my pizza preference. So if yer like me, then this will give you a heads up. Beyond pizza... very good beer list. Cool atmosphere. Nice staff.
