From the first time I ate here, it's become 1 of my top 5 go to's for amazing Americana fusion. Picture your grandma from the south joined the society: Les Dame d Escoffier, and has opened up a casual, modern and well styled cafe. I'm not a food critic, but I am critical of food. I love to cook and this place makes my mouth excited and satiates my hankerin' for tasty dishes. The staff is sweet, intelligent and friendly. The atmosphere is casual. Always good music, clean white tiles, ample plants and locally purposed (and made) wooden benches and tables. Come in your work duds, or in your nines. There's something for everyone here and you're going to like it. You might come back the next week, it's so dang good. Whether you want a big 'ol hearty dish, or something healthy, eat in or take out their sublime flavor combinations. Delish dishes with many ingredients sourced locally when in season.My favorites: Cubano sandwich, the spiced Cauliflower Wrap, beet and arugula salad, grilled tri-tip salad, any shrub and or soda.Check their hours first and the parking lot is small, but make it happen- you'll be hooked if you understand good food, with powerful intentions.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but they have lots of salads and vegetables, so just ask. They try to accommodate.

Great food. We had the corn beef handpie, Blt . Chicken bah mi sandwich, fries and lemon bar. The quality was amazing and they put their touch on everything. Nice outdoor seating. Pets on a leash are welcomed. The staff were very sweet and the place was very clean. You gotta try the cider too. This place is worth the stop.

So I went here with my beastie and while the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was pleasant the chicken on the chicken sandwich was a horrible piece of meat! But the roll it came on and the breading on the chicken was sooooo good! My friend said her salad was excellent! Just unlucky ? day for me I guess

I have always had the best food at the Fairhaven. This day I ordered the veggie sandwich....don't remember if it said grilled or not....and fries.The fries were barely crisp on the outside and mushy on the inside. The size of the fries and the mushy inside led them to be bland & tasteless, definitely NOT enough seasoning, garlic & parsley etc.The sandwich came wrapped nicely in parchment paper. Unwrapped it to steam rising and a wonderful aroma. That's about all that was good about it. The vegetables were over cooked and dripping with oil. It was not 'grilled' over wood or charcoal, maybe just on flat kitchen griddle. The bread is usually the highlight of a sandwich there. That day the bread was soggy due to it being wrapped in parchment paper. The bread was soaked in oil.The tray was sat in front of me with two containers of something. Not sure if I was supposed to use it for the fries or the sandwich, but no explanation was given by server. I tasted them. One was a lemon mayo the other I have no idea what the flavor of the mayo was. No cutlery. No service check during the meal.The ambiance is ok. It's very very noisy when packed. You can't hear the music. If you wear hearing aides without ambiance noise block....this is NOT the place for you. On good weather days there is always outdoor seating. But on inclement weather days there are very few inside tables, so there's a backup and tight quarters.Go give it a try. If they have the muffaletta sandwich that day try it. It's super yummy. Hard to find a muffaletta west of the Mississippi.Oh parking lot is difficult, better to park in lot on opposite corner.

I've been driving by this place every day since they opened. I finally stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Original chicken sandwich, a fruity drink and a lemon bar to go. Everything was perfectly made.
Fairhaven restaurant offers a superb experience with its great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly, fast service. What impressed me the most was the meticulous cleanliness—from the entrance to the bathroom, every detail, including the table and restaurant area, was impeccably maintained. It's truly a great place, and I wholeheartedly recommend trying it out!

This is an absolute must try restaurant. They bake all their own breads with local flour. They utilize local produce. Their food is satisfying, delicious and wholesome. I can't say enough good things about it.
