Great eggs Benedict, nice atmosphere and very nice waitress. I decided to give it another try a couple weeks ago after all and was glad i did.I tried to amend my previous review and don’t seem to be able to do that.
We had a great brunch. Our server for us everything we needed and was very friendly. I will recommend the eggs Benedict!
The waitress was great . We waited an hour . I was so excited to take my husband out for Father’s Day. Then the food came. The potatoes were reheated and were dry. The omelette they made was not out of fresh ingredients. Spinach was from a can and the mushrooms were under cooked I could not eat it . I actually threw up because it made my stomach hurt . My husband got chicken fried steak and it was Not eatable . Rubbery and over cooked . The eggs were not cooked properly . Got my child a piece of bacon and it was so over cooked he chocked .Had to walk out . So disappointed with the food : I would not even let my dog eat the food . Please be cautious eating their food ; it’s obvious the cook has no idea what they are doing . Multiple people sent the food back while I was there and people were walking out .When we first entered the building the lady behind the register was quit rude : I asked her so do we seat ourselves or what? She said she could not help up for several minutes even though she was just standing there with a rude look on her face . Super unwelcoming.Don’t waste your time OR Money there : they completely over charge for horrible service . I would have rather ate McDonald’s than that nasty food . Be careful there food is unsafe to eat .
The waitress was okay, took forever to come get our order, another waitress had to tell her to take our order. Came around after we were done with food to ask for refill on coffee and water.Once we got the food my husbands french toast was undercooked and raw.I’m pregnant and requested cooked eggs and they brought me SUPER runny and undercooked. Not safe while pregnant.Unfortunate that our experience was like that, we live close by and would love to have a breakfast place that we love.Don’t know if the communication between the cook and waitress wasn’t there or just the cook not listening to the waitress. I hope it gets worked out because we’d love to try again soon.
Cozy neighborhood diner. Food tasty, good specials. Friendly waitress. Came for breakfast, lite menu good value for quantity..
Use to come here every Saturday and loved every minute of being there now that the regular girls are gone service has changed tremendously. It’s a shame that I have to find a new breakfast place. They don’t come around with coffee or water. It takes forever for them to come get our order or even acknowledge that we are there. Owner is oblivious to what’s going on.
I loved it here but will never come back. I needed a small meal ... trying to lose a few before a trip .. you understand. My water is off at home due to some construction. I needed a small meal not a large one and take the rest home , a small one so I’m not tempted thank you very much . And a break which is why I’m here.I’m here at a not really busy time and I’m with other people who are ordering regular meals so I’m not taking up any space.. But I can’t order a smaller meal by using the side menu cause the owner decided not to do that anymore. My side order, by the way ,added up to almost a regular meal.. I just don’t want that much food in front of me.The waitress is a sweetheart by the way. There are so few local restaurants and this was even where I chose to celebrate my birthday...so I’m sad to be done with this one but I am.. the owner doesn’t seem to care about her customers.
Very happy for the crowsnest to still be open after the pandemic. The new staff I can see are eager to learn and I understand that it is a learning process. Five star quality ingredients and kindness.
Usually have been here for breakfast or lunch. This time we went for dinner. House salad was lackluster but balsamic dressing was good. Prime rib dip and fries were enjoyed by husband. Service was slow.
The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Service was excellent.

This morning 5-3-21 I got the herbivore omelet, it was decently big and well stuffed. However on the menu it says it cane with tomatoes and sadly there weren't any tomatoes. I don't know if the menu needs to be updated (breakfast menu) or they didn't have any. So back to the omelet, the vegetables were quite chunky but delicious! I would have liked for something to stand out more in flavor because they all seem to blend too well together, perhaps a savoury or sour cheese would really top it off nicely. My waitress annalise was a real gem. She kept the coffee flowing nice and hot and was very accommodating!
Good choice of food and beers. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only wish there was more outdoor seating, to enjoy a beer in the sun ?.
I was staying on Camano Island last night, so my aunt and I decided to grab a bite here. I ordered the grilled salmon. The salmon itself was really good, I ordered a side of the Asian Salad Dressing for the top, which was so good! The sautéed vegetables were really good as well, they weren't overcooked at all. I also opted for a baked potato, ordered a side of sour cream which we did not receive. My aunt got the fish and chips with chowder and salad. She said the fish was really good, a little dark on the fry, but delicious nonetheless. Great fries. She also said the chowder was really good, but at over $6 for a CUP is crazy as my whole salmon dinner was under $17. Our waitress was so so so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend eating here!
Every time we go to eat there usually for dinner, we are always pleased with the outcome. The prime rib is the best we ever had. We are going there tonight for my husbands birthday dinner. Looking forward to not cooking ?
We've eaten here a few times. The service is friendly, and the food has always been good.I had my go-to, the Reuben. It was delicious, nice marbled rye, with a choice of tots as an accompaniment, which I enjoyed. The tartar (we also ordered fish) was great: it had a lot of garlic, which was a delicious surprise.
