Maybe I need to have them warmed up. Nice for a quick bite if I'm in a bind, though. Excited to sample more of their menu.

Caffe Piccolo is a really great spot that I love to go to, and have gone to many times growing up. The coffee/drinks +food are typically high quality and I have pretty much no issue with that. Usually I’ve always had pretty good service, but in the last year or so, when I come in, there are a couple workers there that aren’t the friendliest. I don’t really feel welcome in there sometimes because of certain people. There are some excellent employees that are super kind like the tall young man, he always goes above and beyond; and who I believe is the manager, she was really attentive and kind. Some others… not so much. For example, the other day, I had gotten a drink that I usually get, so I know the typical price. They charged me a little extra and I didn’t say anything because it’s not a huge deal and I assumed the prices were adjusted. Then someone behind me ordered that drink but it was my usual price, so I was confused. Then it comes out and it’s the wrong drink, which makes sense on the price difference. I tell them the drink that it was supposed to be(since they didn’t read me my order before they charged me, just a miscommunication but it could have been avoided by doing that) and then they look at me like I’m totally all wrong asking if I can get my drink remade. There is no apology for getting the drink wrong and up-charging me(which I understand is a miscommunication) but I feel like(as someone actively working in food service) that the bare minimum I would have personally done is apologize or at least be friendly about it. It’s not a big deal to remake a drink, especially since they weren’t super busy with drinks at the time. I felt like I was crazy for asking for the drink I wanted when I never make people feel that way as long as they’re nice. The reason I bring this up now is because of this incident, but in the past year or so it hasn’t been friendly, and all I ask is that someone talks to the staff about being friendly to all customers and upping their customer service skills. I love piccolo but I have felt uncomfortable with this and I just hope for a change in attitude. This is a great business that has been through a lot, but I have standards and expectations and I hope for improvement.

Cute little coffee shop located in downtown Camas, came here with some family members & got some delicious coffee drinks. Line can be kind of long and extends to the outside areas, worth the wait!

This cafe hires the kindest friendliest staff. I have been a regular for the last five years and just always feel so welcomed by people who work there who just seem genuinely happy and kind :)
Also the breakfast sandwiches are great. (I think they’d be better with a bit of mustard in my opinion and the matcha is a little too sweet but the other stuff is great so this is just a tiny nit and I’m still giving all five stars)

Matcha is not good, very very sweet and not real matcha. Would not recommend. Also I asked for an everything bagel and got a plain one but didn’t realize till I drove away already. Oh well. I can’t speak to the coffee.

Not that I’m bias just because I used to play the piccolo, but the name alone already had me intrigued—and luckily, the drinks live up to it! Piccolo serves the best mocha I’ve been able to find: rich, smooth, and the perfect combo of espresso and chocolate. Whether you’re dodging emails or dodging people (like me) piccolo is the spot to stay awhile, and order a second mocha!
