I have been a long time weekly regular of JBs, since about 2023. Unfortunately since it was sold, the experience has declined steadily. The food quality isn’t the same and they can’t seem to keep the same staff.
The trivia was fun but the new owners changed the prizes (from $30, $20 and $10 to eventually $10, $7.50 and $5) and people stopped coming in for trivia to the point that the owners just canceled trivia entirely.
A huge bummer and I’ll be finding a new place to become a regular at.

I have had lunch twice at JB's and both times it was delicious. Not crowded and spacious. Our bartender/waiter was super nice and polite and we got our food in a timely manner. Clean! I would maybe like the music at lunch to be a little quieter but at night it would be fine as is. just my preference. Recommend!

Great food, great prices, great service, and I loved the atmosphere. The buffalo wings were great, and so are the sidewinder fries. I also enjoyed the pilsner.

We loooove JB's!! We come here at least once a month and always have the best experience. The owner himself waits tables and is so passionate about his food. You can taste the difference here. We have loved everything we've ever tried here including but not limited to the chicken tenders, BLT, seared rockfish sandwich, pretzel sticks, artichoke dip, and their incredible fries! We tell everyone we know about this place.

JB’s Taphouse is hands down one of our favorite local spots. More than a favorite, we love it and feel like family there every time we go. The owner is fantastic—always welcoming and passionate about great food and beer, and has hired the best kitchen staff around. First off let me just say im a southern boy,i spent most of my younger years surrounded by the flavors and spice one can only get from southern style and soul foods. When i moved here i found myself longing for the flavors i took for granted. Well im happy too say after about 9 years i can stop searching this place has seemingly rekindled my mind with lost memory's i didnt know i was missing. Notebly its not a southern restaurant but the amazing flavors and dish combinations and friendly atmosphere have given me an oasis that brings me home every time i go in. Amazing fish dishes amazing everything and a rye old fashioned thats just how you like it. It is my opinion the food and frinks here are rivaled by no one in this area. Try for yourself you wont regret it
