One of the best Mexican food joints in Vancouver. Their margaritas are excellent. Salsa has personality. I like the carnitas burrito better than the macho. Also fond of the Chile Colorado and steak fajitas. The best base spirits for a Mexican restaurant. A decent selection of mixers and liqueurs. Los Potrillos has the best staff. They treat you really well. Especially if you sit at the bar. PRO Tip: Their Happy Hour is the best in Vancouver. A medium Cadillac margarita is only $9! If you like spicy, ask for the green habanero sauce. Fair amount of parking. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars. ✌?

I read a lot of the reviews of this place and was not really excited for my upcoming visit. I read how great the service but we didn't get that. We were with friends who frequent the establishment often and they were treated like royalty. This was strange because we were at the same table. Super uncomfortableI ordered a habanero margarita and it was good and spicy but it appears their mixer was something you could buy at the store. I had some really delicious carne asada tacos but my husband said his chicken burrito lacked flavor and we agreed that the rice and beans were bland.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options availableParking: It's a very tight narrow parking area.

Fast service, great food. Even on a Friday night!!!Update went Sunday wasn't too busy, as always food was delicious. Menu needs updated for pricing however as the menu says my #29 was 19, I got added sour cream and guac for an added 3 dollars and was charged 23, there were other issues I didn't catch till I got home though.The cost of business goes up and that is fine, but update those menus!

On the positive side, the service was friendly and fast. That’s really the only positive thing I have to say. The menu wasn’t particularly interesting. No al la cart items. The food was very bland and basic. It’s a small, casual restaurant and then they throw in unnecessary charges. They charged a $2 sharing fee since my husband and I choose to share a meal. You can’t order anything off the happy hour food menu unless you get a drink. It’s not that fancy of a place. We won’t be back.
