Unlike most Mexican restaurants, at this establishment, you do pay for your chips and salsa..

The main point:
I imagine the food is good. However, the problem was the seating and lack of concern for the customers that were present versus those that may or may not come through the door. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant at a small table, employee traffic on both sides of us. We noticed a table on the side. Asked if we could be seated there and the young girl said she could not in case a party of four came in which we kind of understood but you should give preference to the comfort of those who are present. Anyways we decided that we would go into the bar where there was no seating except one high table with seating for six. The bartender said we could not sit there, even though I have been to even nicer establishments than this and you are able to take a seat wherever it is open.
Anyways I imagine the food is good and we'll try it again some other time.

Delicious Mexican cuisine with a fresh modern twist. They serve all of the traditional favorites, and also have new takes on Mexican food. We loved it, and will definitely return again!

We will never go back here. Service was horrible and the food was the same. It was Dec 6th afternoon . Do better!

Benefit of doubt on service. Waiters very busy, short staffed. Some folks walked out due to long wait. Good food, very salty chips (not complementary).

Food was enjoyable.
Service did me wrong. Talked to host. She said 15 minute wait but we could sit at the bar and she would come get us. I said, “do you need my name and info to hold a table?” Host, “oh no. I’ll get you.” After an hour at the bar I had to interrupt the bartender from their bar back work and ask if I could order since I clearly am not getting sat at a table. My food came out immediately and the quality was great. I felt they knew they had missed the mark with the seating issue. However, no one check in on us after receiving our food. I left my friend with my card to pick up my children from care. After 10 minutes no bartender had been reachable or to ask for a bill. I bring my kids in to collect my card and finish paying. The only way I got the bartenders attention (finally) is bringing my children which I got reprimanded for. Well, I’m just trying to pay you and leave. But now you run my CC which I can’t go leave my kids on the sidewalk by themselves. So I put them in the bathroom. When they walk out of the bathroom I get reprimanded again for having my children at bar. Maybe don’t have the bathroom by the bar? Maybe provide me a bill or have the bartender check on me more than once very hour? Maybe have the host take my info so I can sit at a seat and not have to worry in the first place about my children at the bar. I got reprimanded by your staff twice when you didn’t take care of my initial needs that I very clearly asked, “do you need my name and info to hold a table?”
PS I took you metal salsa and guacamole cup because I didn’t want to get reprimanded a 3rd time with my kids standing with me to transfer the salsa into your plastic cup. Thanks.

Love the food here! Friendly staff, great vibe, not too long to wait usually. We get take out often as well and it's just as good. I appreciate that they have gluten free and vegetarian options available on the menu.

The chorizo taco was greasy and there was not any potato in it as the menu stated. 3rd time I’ve been here and last time. Nothing special. Had to walk up to server to get more salsa.

Great food but a bit pricey. Overall a nice spot to share a meal with friends and or family. Close to shops and other things to do in downtown Camas.

Great service and atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent pinto beans. Too bad the rest of the food wasn't as good as the service. Chips were fresh, but over salted and they cost extra. Enchilada was dry and didn't have any sauce. Taquitos were over fried with no sauce. Rice was dry. We are from California where the Mexican food is unbelievably delicious, so maybe we can't be objective. The rest of our party was local and it is a favorite spot of theirs. If you like your Mexican food over cooked, over salted and dry, you might also enjoy this restaurant. The staff was amazing, too bad the food wasn't as good as the staff.

Service is alaways great.
Food at par or above.

The food is noticeably salty
Their famous ceviche has way too much heat to it.

As a consumer I would recommend having your patrons add their own salt or heat to their own dishes.
You would get a better finished product per customer that would suite them.
Thank you.

Great atmosphere, loved the food and the service was fabulous. The walkability in downtown Camas is great and the parking is ample. We sat in the bar but lots of seating in the main restaurant. We were there during an outdoor festival. Don’t miss this fun experience with great Mexican food. We loved the chips and dip as well as the burrito and the street tacos.
