Until this location starts enforcing mask use I will no longer be shopping here. Customers walk in unmasked and unquestioned, vendors wear theirs under their nose (seriously, do you not know how the respiratory system works???), and even the cashiers aren't compliant. Major Covid risk. Shop elsewhere.

I asked three young girls to where the bagels were located and they ignored me the first few times I asked, they rolled there eyes and were quite rude. I hope that next time I ask I won't have to deal with that negativity.

I've always had great customer service In the deli here until I was waited on by Kimber. She obviously does not want to be there. She really sets a poor example for the other employees. It's like she's being put out when she has to help someone. Maybe HR needs to give her another customer service/attitude class.

Just came back from the Safeway - 8pm. Haven't been there in weeks but it's our pharmacy. So there's a man and woman, seemingly able fully grown adults (the lady was in the smaller side) and they did not wear a mask. I confronted them but their limited cognitive abilities occult not grasp the severity of the situation. Apparently the store staff is not allowed to refuse them service nor send them away. I did not hang around long enough to see if they had some phantom medical affliction or if they had some pandemic denial issues. But it's certain that they were pussies that need to wear a fscking mask! TLDR; avoid our local Safeway, covidiot alert

Friendly, professional staff and, despite the supply problems caused by Covid-19 and the economic collapse, they do a good job of keeping things in stock and regularly cleaning. Sone more variety in ethnic foods would be great. How about less frozen pizza sections and more Indian, Chinese, Thai, Latin, Japanese, etc.?

Ordinarily I love my local store. Today was a bad experience. I understand the need for the social distancing, but I have a disability. I wore a mask, I followed the one way aisles, which btw, almost no one else was. This made the distance twice as long. I was out of breath and in pain by the time I got to check out. Terrible management: Some workers seem to be allowed to do nothing while at work and management is always unaware. I highly recommend Washougal Safeway or any other grocey store.

This is a great Safeway. It is a total neighborhood feel inside and out. The manager is really really nice. All of the staff is great. We love going there!

I've now purchased several items that have not been fresh including vegetables, fruits, and meats. I just bought some presliced deli meat that was almost a month over it's sell by date. I should not have to check the date to see if an item is ALREADY expired before I buy it. I do all my shopping here because it's so close to my house, but that was the last straw for me. I'll be switching to QFC.

Good custom-made as well as pre-packaged sandwiches to grab and go. Plus has a Starbux inside store with seating area next to SBUX and has a fireplace. Also, deli has some sushi and American-American-Chinese food to grab at reasonable prices.
