One of my favorite local restaurants in the Vancouver camas area. Consistently great food and drink options I'm a huge fan of their different deviled eggs as well as their mac and cheese and grilled Chicken are fabulous. Their Pizza is great as well and you can really taste the Wood-Fired oven. I can usually always be satisfied getting either a steak option their mac and cheese with grilled chicken one of the pizzas or just a smattering of their appetizers. One of their current specials is a barbecue short rib with a really delicious vinegar BBQ sauce reminds me a lot of a Carolina mopping sauce for barbecue it's really tasty I enjoyed it in the short rib was excellent.

Way over priced for the low quality. Chicken dumplings had a dozen tiny bone fragments still in the chicken. Mmmmm!
My fish and chips were overcooked and came with awful red tartar sauce. The precooked dried out french fries were a perfect match, as was the DRY slaw consisting of only chopped wilted greens and cabbage.
The only thing I can recommend is not eating here.

The stuff they get right is delicious, but it can take a bit of misses to find them. Their cocktails are very good and creative. Their deviled eggs are one of my favorites - especially because of their candied bacon. The steak brochettes is very good too.

Service is always great and the view is beautiful especially if you’re here on a clear evening and catch the sunset.

Had an amazing dinner here, everything was on point from the friendly service, wine selection, entrees, and dessert. The vegetables that came with the entrees were perfectly prepared too. The deviled eggs starter are a must-try, the best I've ever had.

We have been here several times now in the past few months and there’s been a lot of gluten-free options. This time there was one very disappointing.

Ask them about the stakes menu. They tell us it is the best. Came dry overcooked

the cocktails were delish and the mushroom ricotta toast. i also ordered a burger and rosemary/parm fries and the fries were very bland, not the flavor they described and small portion. the burger bun was soggy and the burger just greasy. I was disappointed for the price point.

I went here with my girlfriend for date night and honestly the Cobb salad was incredibly mediocre. Half the cherry tomatoes were completely mushy inside (bruised or old), the avocado was too young + chewy to eat (I couldn't slice it with a fork) and the salmon was mush. I buy smoked salmon all the time around here and this was the worst I've had. The shrimp and crab cake were fine but were on par with prepped food from a Safeway. The greens themselves were really good but $25 felt like a ripoff at the end of the day. The service was ok but overall the place had a "finance bro" vibe so it missed the mark for me.

Husband and I have been coming to Hammond Restaurant for 4 years, at least 2-3 times per year dining here for birthday or "just because" occasions. Recently, the experience has gone downhill.

(1) The prices are absolutely outrageous, and the portions are smaller than ever. As a chef (from Four Seasons hotel to Double Tree Hilton), I can confidently say that the 3oz of salmon I was served was definitely not enough. Plus, the smoked salmon was mushy and tasteless (see pictures below). When I asked the manager/host to add a little more portion, she told me she could, but there would be an extra charge—this was after I had been a loyal customer for so long.

(2) My husband ordered a double cheese burger with an extra side of the house salad, and it ended up being an $8 charge for a tiny cup-sized portion. I mean it - A TINY CUP. However, our waiter, Devin, was amazing and tried to help, but he couldn’t do anything because "his boss" (that lady) was there and wouldn’t allow it.

We ended up paying $62 for a dinner (Pacific Cobb Salad and double cheese burger + side of salad) that should have been far better in both quality and value. I get that prices can rise, but this is excessive. If they don’t reconsider their approach, I’m sure they’ll lose more loyal customers. It’s truly frustrating to see how much it’s changed, and not for the better.

Stylish decor with decent food. It's fairly loud joint due to so many reflective surfaces. The Waliser Cabernet Sauvignon is not bad. The Oden Thor Equinox beer is good. The prime rib dip is good. The steak salad is pretty good. The pizzas are small and just enough for one person. Fries are basic diced potatoes. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars.
