As a first time visitor I was shocked at this restaurant. I decided to try this food establishment called Hammond which is located in Camas. My wife and I were joined by our daughter who was visiting us from Florida. I asked whether a military discount was offered and the waiter replied sharply that they didn’t offer discounts for anything.
The prices were very high so we were expecting good food and excellent service. We looked over the menu and ordered and were quickly informed that one of the few vegetarian dishes offered (which my daughter had ordered) was not available due to a lack of beets which was one of the main ingredients. She looked over the menu and could not find an alternate choice so she just ate the foccacio and a deviled egg. I ordered the margarita pizza but after several bites I noticed that the sauce had an acrid aftertaste. I let the waiter know and asked him to remove the plate from the table since I was starting to feel ill from the sauce. My wife ordered a salad with steak and she found the meat on the tough side. When I suggested that the pizza be removed from the bill the waiter stated that he couldn’t do anything about it. We ended up paying over $80 for two meals, one beer, and two modest appetizers. I will never return and canned recommend this place to anyone.

Just discovered this place today. Much better than I ever expected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving this spot a try. Not sure how I never heard about it.

The cobb salad had the perfect variety of smoked salmon, 2 shrimp, and a crab cake. The goddess dressing was a heavenly match.

The sirloin dip was juicy and tender, the parmesan french fries were slightly soggy and too salty but the rosemary bread certainly made up for this.

Our server was cheerful and a delight to be around. Cheers!

The item itself is 5 stars. The mushroom burger with fries. It’s sooooo freaking delicious. I would come here just for this. But the menu is not very exciting as this is the only vegan item. We will be back for this burger though!

This is one of my wife and I‘s favorite places to go to get lunch or dinner. Every time, it’s great food and great atmosphere. The owners are super kind, and the staff is super accommodating and on top of things. The location is great as well and we’ve never Felt rushed or not important. Thank you so much for creating a great atmosphere for our family.

I recently had the opportunity to dine here, and overall, the experience was good. However, one person in our party received a salad that contained a bug and some dirt. When we asked for a replacement, the manager downplayed the issue instead of focusing on resolving it. Although we did receive a new salad, the manager’s nonchalant attitude came across as unprofessional.

The food was average, the very small portions. The server was friendly and upbeat.But she talked very loud and very fast. I had heard good things about this place but none of it came true. We thought it would be quiet and semi private. It wasn't at all. Don't take a date here. My partner, it is over six feet, and we were sat at the tiniest table I have ever had dinner at. There was a huge column under-the-table instead of a pedestal. So we had nowhere to put our feet. It was very uncomfortable. They also do not have a blender for blended drinks.So that was a huge disappointment. It's a shame because we live so close, but we won't be back.
