The Pit BBQ in Washougal is a hidden gem with fantastic BBQ. The owner, Rich, provides excellent service and the meat is perfectly seasoned, so much so that BBQ sauce isn't even necessary. The ribs, pulled pork, and tri-tip are all delicious, with a special mention for the pulled pork which was sweet, tangy, soft, and juicy. The baked beans have a nice smoked flavor without being overly sweet. Larry, another staff member, gives great recommendations and the chicken is a must-try with a special seasoning from Iceland. This place is a must-visit for BBQ lovers looking for amazing food and friendly service.
