i honestly had a sauce issue but thats on my part, i loved this place and it sticks with me personally through heart and stone, im so happy this place exists

This place used to have a 5 star review from me, but unfortunately I think they changed owners? Or something? I’m not even sure.. we walked to the outside window, like we used to. And some older woman said before we could even get there “if you don’t have pets, go around” I’ve never ordered inside..
Once inside, we were being rang up by some teen, who was learning, and half way through our order, he was replaced by the same old lady who just randomly decided he’s being too slow. Once we’re ordered, paid, and waiting, we’re asked if we’re going to-go to wait outside. Like what?
After waiting 30 minutes we receive our food, and we’re both extremely disappointed.. burger patties are very obviously frozen, and over cooked.. I asked for no tomato, or pickle, got both. My fiancé asked for no lettuce, and got that as well. Ordered a LARGE tater tot, and got this sad bad of soggy tater tots.. and their ranch went from good home made ranch, to now just seasoned mayo?
End of the day we spent the same, or more than 5guys, and the food was painfully worse than 5guys.. very sad to see another old local place go down hill, and will not be back.. and will no longer recommend them.

Order at the counter. No combos, everything is ala cart. My onion rings were thinly covered in panko and fried crispy. Tasted fine, though I prefer a corn meal batter. Chocolate shake was thick as I like it. The kitchen and dining room were very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of parking and quiet country setting.

We tried Top Burger Drive In. Overall very good food and service. I went with the BBQ and bacon burger and fries. Tasty and well made. The wife had the Basic burger and onion rings. She was pleasantly surprised. Said it was good.

I bought a burger from your place around 1 PM today, but I was at work and didn’t have time to deal with it right away. The bacon had a very strong chemical smell, like shampoo or cleaning product — it was really bad. I couldn’t eat it, and my friend tried one bite and had to spit it out too.
I just want to let you know this was serious and dangerous. I hope no one else gets the same thing — please check what happened with that food.

Too expensive. Burger was about $10 should be $5 at the most.
Great place to stop for a milkshake and fries. Parking is awful though, especially if you try to go through the drive-thru and they have you find a parking spot, other than that they have the best ice cream selection and it's always a great treat!

Ive been to Top Burger before. Good food. Just went to go again. Owner/manager lady was loudly admonishing staff from across the store and right in front of customers. Even if there was an issue with what the employee did, there are ways to handle it. Hollering at them from across the store isnt it. I decided that i couldn't support that so i went next door to Detroit Pizza instead.

Had to wait 25 minutes for an ice cream cone. While waiting, the workers friend came in and was served right away. This place has been going steadily down hill ever since the ownership changed. Edit, we just popped into top burger again for an ice cream cone, we didn't have to wait very long, but they now serve you less than half whatbthey used to and the price has doubled. This place is a complete train wreck. It's sad, it was such a cool place to go many years ago.
