Zero expectations, first day, crushed it! Pie perfect. Second day, did it again! Not a one off. We got the treehugger, Chan cheese, garlic oil base with pineapple. It was f-word, f-word plus -ing amazing and good. Did not see that coming. And the barbaque sauce? They will ruin barbaque sauce for you. No other barbaque sauce will ever compare ever again. Ever. You are welcome.

Great food and atmosphere! Worth the stop!

My finance and I booked the event tent for our rehearsal dinner. The staff were very attentive and responsive. We selected the smokehouse BBQ package and the food was amazing. Our friends and family really enjoyed the brisket. We also ended up going back for breakfast and had an amazing time with great food! Overall had a great experience here and would highly recommend!

Ate - Hummus, Pepperoni express pie, bbq platter.

Notes - The Sausage & hummus were very good, I would order them again. The Brisket was dry but tender, pulled pork was dry and lacked smokiness, both required BBQ sauce to facilitate consumption. The pizza had a good crust but there were too many toppings, and putting the pepp under the cheese prevents the best part of a pepp pie...the crispy curled grease chalices that well made pepperoni morph into when baked.

Brisket sandwich and pizza are our post hike favorite meal here. The horseradish adds a nice kick to the sandwich. Food, drinks, and service are always spot on.

Great brews (I did a tasting flight and 10/10 recommend!) the food was also delicious! Everything was reasonably priced and yummy! Also loved the lil table top turner fans that kept flies away. All restaurannts need these for patios! Will def be back.

Good pizza and a great in house rootbeer make for a great combo.

Place was packed when I stopped in, but the atmosphere was chill and welcoming. Definitely will make my way back here again sometime!

Great pizza and beer and excellent desserts. Indoor, outdoor or outdoor tent seating. Fabulous friendly service, great side salads. Nice large selection of beers on tap, the Hinterewalden Pilsener reminded me of Germany (excellent beer) the IPA was solid. Very nice root beer. Plenty of parking, worth a visit.

Amazing food! Outstanding staff! Great mocktails as a non alcoholic drinker their house root beer always suffice! The atmosphere is kick back chill with well behaved doggy’s and amazing view of the great outdoors! Carson is a great little town!! Hit this place on the way up the mountain or down it’s awesome! Has a country market right there stretched along side of it with a delicious ice cream milkshake machine! Great for all! ❤️God Bless You!

If you like your beer fruity with hints of mango, melon and grapefruit, this is the place to be. I do not.

Whenever we visit the area Backwoods is a must stop for great BBQ, pizza, tacos of course brews! Amazing people that provide fast, friendly service
