Beers are a bit spendy, but despite that it's delicious drinks and fantastic food! Their BBQ mac and cheese as well as their pizza is fantastic. Happy to see such a successful place come out of my home town!

Nice low-key atmosphere. Good is delicious and a good price & portions. Especially like the Nw Salad with brisket, super smokey chili, and the pretzel sticks with cheese. Tried a beer flight of IPAs and stouts. IPA were quite hoppy enough for our tastes and the stout was a big too sweet. Not bad, just not our taste.

One of our favorite places in the PNW!! Have been going to the original Backwoods location in Carson since 2013 and is our go to anytime we are out in the gorge. We don't live in odx anymore so dont get up as much but used to be here 10-15 times a year at least for many many years. They have always had amazing beer, the best pizza in the area, and the staff has never been short of amazing. Me and my husband have been coming here from dating to marriage and now bring our kiddos with us and they love it just as much. The staff is amazing with the kids and alway talk to them and are so nice. The expansions since they 1st opened are great and happy they have new locations even though Carson will always be our go to! I have so many special memories that involve this place and would give them 100 stars if I could. Hope this gem or a place stays forever with the same great people. Lots of places are good for a bit then fall off with popularity...rare to find a place just as good in 2024 as is was in 2013 and this place us as good or better. Can't wait to be back this summer and was a nice treat today after a trip to pdx for errands and a sneak away in the sunshine into the gorge just because we were close.

Cozy restaurant tucked in the cute town of Carson. Food is excellent! The sandwiches, soup, brisket and pizza will keep you wanting to come back for more. The pecan pie porter beer is divine if you like a smooth dark beer. We always ask for Annette's section as she is kind, courteous,bubbly and always gets our order right. If your ever down in Southern WA you need to check this place out. Keep up the great work!
Had a great time. Our oldest requested we try this. Hubby enjoyed beer, I had a really good cherry cardamom Kombucha. Boys split the BBQ. We also liked the salad and chicken pizza, (makes great leftovers). Oh, pretzels and cheese, super yummy app. AND the soup was well done. (We were all super hungry.) Friendly service. Had to wait a bit for apps and drinks and then the rest came out a bit too quickly as we weren't too far into our first course.
