Elk Ridge Restaurant & Bar

Went in to have lunch a couple weeks ago and noticed a lady that pulled up and parked next to us began to mix herself. A alcoholic beverage before walking in and beginning to serve alcohol to customers.

It’s an absolutely beautiful place to eat after a morning soak in the hot springs. Even when it’s –1°C outside, it feels wonderfully warm and cozy inside, and you can truly enjoy a delicious breakfast made with fresh, healthy ingredients. Today I had eggs Benedict with baby spinach — simply perfect — all served in an atmosphere of genuine friendliness and kindness. ❤️

Our breakfast was amazing. Service was perfect, Sarah is the best! We ordered the Drunken Logger omelette, Corned Beef Hash, and the Challah Bread French Toast. All so good!

Good food, friendly staff, cozy environment.

Seems the place was undergoing renovations when we were visiting. The atmosphere was so dull and vacant, it was like the place had been ransacked.
We asked to have our food packaged to-go, which was somewhat of a disappointment. Portions were small for the Poutine and soggier than expected.

Dinner was absolutely amazing. I had the shrimp pasta and it was amazing. My wife had the fish and really enjoyed. Staff was great.

Figured we would try a new place out and was extremely disappointed by this place. I got the club sandwich and she got the BLT. Fries are extremely salty and sandwiches are slapped together. We both decided to try out the bread pudding as well and quite frankly I took a picture cause I had to laugh when I opened it and I’ll spare you the jokes that were made upon opening it. For 80 dollars we ended up letting the food sit in our fridge for a couple of days before throwing it away cause no one wanted to eat it. After you see the picture I feel like nothing else needs to be explained……

A late Monday evening dinner and they were out of a few menu items. But what we finally ordered was just fine. I recommend the Reuben sandwich.
The overworked server was frazzled, but a really pleasant person.

Amber was a wonderful server. Attentive of all her tables and made us feel special. We will be coming back and request her everytime!
