Easiset part was parking. Nobody was there. We were charged $45 for two burgers, two sodas, and one order of fries. We expected, from the menu, to pay $30. No receipt.Burger was okay. Definitely came from frozen, and it had too much sauce on it. It made my stomach sick when I got home. The only employee present was likely the owner. They looked to be in their 60s and were stifling a dry cough the entire time we were present.Place, given the sign outside, has furniture that was out of style when the place was new. it is likely the only money going into the property is to repair fire and electrical damage, of which the evidence is plentiful--all of the ceiling electrical outlets have a black halo of smoke. The place looks the sort to survive on clueless tourists like us who don't complain immediately when overcharged. I would come here to get scammed, not to get a good meal. Avoid this place.

Dirty, grimy place with outrageous prices. Beware that everything is ala carte. My $10.99 fish sandwich cost me over $25 that included cheese on the sandwich wast an extra $2, about 6 tator tots and a medium drink...$25...so not worth it. I will never return to C&L Burger.

Beware that anything you buy here is twice as much as the advertised price on the menu. Food isn't worth the high cost of this burger joint. Very disappointing. My fish sandwich and a soda cost me over $25. The inside of this place is filthy.

First, the guy almost kept my debit card.Second, ordered a root beer float and got a cup full of ice cream.Third, the quality of the food was just terrible. This place use to be great but with new owners, it all went down hill.

My how this place has gone down hill. 3 inedible burgers two frozen crinkle fries with zero seasoning and one syrup milk shake for 100 bucks…. No extra ketchup no napkins. The place is filthy…. Might as well get gas station snacks this place

Read the reviews below. Just pretty much terrible. Elk? Really? Could easily have been a Walmart frozen burger. Ridiculously overpriced. As others say, avoid at all cost!! (Cost being the key word there).

I should've known better when I saw black dust smeared across the ceiling and a thick layer of grime across the walls. The owner poking out from the used cardboard fort he'd built around the register. And just ahead of us, a man arguing about his bill. Foreshadowing.I've never been so ripped off at a restaurant. 11 dollars a burger seemed reasonable enough to start, but getting the bill our four burgers, fries and drinks had turned into 80 dollars. Gourmet prices for frozen burgers. The receipt was a long list of up charges we never consented to. A dollar more for cheese on a CHEESEBURGER, 4 dollars for a handful of fries, 3.50 for a piece of "garlic toast" that was a pathetic white slice of garlic scented bread. 3 dollars for an 8 OUNCE SODA.Even the milk shake was an extra dollar just for your flavor. They can only rely on the patronage of drifters for so long before this place is run into the ground.

patty melt (small and bread untoasted, pale), horrific tots and a small soda. Unedible. Don’t bother. We ended up throwing $26+ in the trash.

They proudly announce in the drive thru that the food is worth the wait, priming you for the fact that you may be waiting upwards of 20 minutes in line.If you think a dry burger, supposedly elk or buffalo, that is less palatable than the nasty food from the burger king next door is worth 20 minutes and 15 bucks then I really don't know what to tell you. This is the place for you.Employees are nice tho. Blame the owners.

Please hire someone to come in and clean this whole building. It's dirty. Soggy fish and chips. He turned on the fryer after we ordered.
