Atmosphere is super chill. Service is always quick and they have no problem taking about the beers on tap or offer suggestion. They keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. With 12 taps they have a little something for everyone who come through town, including growler fills for those heading out fishing.They also offer some simple but delicious snacks. In case you feel the need to nibble while you drink.( I love this place, They let me bring in my own peanuts in the shell as long as I keep the shells on the table and clean up after myself ?)

Unassuming taproom with tasty taps and good food that is obviously prepared with care and pride. If you're a local you probably already know. If you're passing through and need a nice stop in the charming town of Castle Rock, check out Ashtown (formerly Crosscut).

I feel like this is the go to spot for a beer here. hip vibes and good beer at good prices. Castle rocks is really quaint. Lovely small town vibes. Will be back during the day to grab a beer here and espresso across the street at the book cafe.
Update: changed to Ashtown brewing north. No longer cross cut.
Came here 2 years ago and again for the Tour de blast ride. Great selection of beers on tap and great atmosphere!

What an underrated spot! Lovely service, great beers and ciders, tasty food, what's not to love? The food was very reasonably priced. We got the soup special, pulled pork sandwich, and brat & pretzel. All delicious! Would come here again!
