The girl here was super chill and friendly! I wanted to try Lotus but didn't know how to order it because I had never gotten it before, so the barista helped me out, and the peach Lotus she made for me was very refreshing.? I would definitely recommend this little coffee shop!

This coffee shop is the love of my life and #1 out of the two coffee shops I go to when I'm in town. All of the Avenue locations are amazing!

I really like their drinks when they’re not given to me flat. It’s always a 50/50 toss up whether or not I’m going to get something I’ll actually drink. Please stop using flat seltzer. These drinks are expensive and I shouldn’t have to make a trip back (a lot of times cant) to have a drink remade. In any case, the service is at least friendly.

We were back in town after years of being away and were looking forward to getting coffee and red bulls. My wife gets the same coffee every time (a drink with 100 different ingredients and she knows when it’s wrong). They always nail it. I tell the girls to make me their favorite mixed Red Bull. Most places will just make you a basic drink and send you on your way. They will try different mixtures and it’s always great. 10 out of 10 the best spot around.
Kid-friendliness: There is always a cake pop, or cookies. A good kids menu with a variety of drinks that won’t have your kid bouncing around the back seat.

Most times is a pleasant experience. But it's the couple bad times that bring this score down. When trying to get a drink fixed, the girl refused to listen to clear instructions & proceeded to cry. Clearly not a stand for anyone over the age of responsibility. I thought customer service meant something but apparently not. Sad world when you pay someone $12 for 2 coffees plus gas $! and then they treat you like the bad guy. Wow. My business will be best done somewhere else.

Baristas are always nice!
Avenue Espresso was my first experience with a coffee hut. The gal who fixed me my coffee aimed to please. She was prepared to put anything in the drink that suited my taste. In the end, she mixed dark ghirardelli coffee with my double-shot cappuccino, and Cherry Wonderdog was in doggy heaven. Avenue was much more of a custom order than the other coffee huts, and diametrically opposite the experience at Starbucks. Price was super cheap – about $2 less than at Starbucks and $1 less than the other coffee huts. If you’re looking for coffee in Ground Mound, this is the place!
