We live in Lacey but often drive down for the meatloaf paninis. We dream about the meatloaf paninis

Joy’s is truly a local gem and joy to visit. The customer service was top notch and the service was fast, given the circumstances. Likewise, the portions are generous and they over delivered in the taste and texture categories. The restroom was clean (a huge one).
We haven’t found a better carrot cake than the one PCC sold back on the Eastside; we’ve been through WA and OR in search of an equal slice. Joy’s carrot cake curb stomped our once favorite PCC slices, thus obviating any need to revisit our past haunts.
You can say we’re customers for life. If you’re a huge panini fan (which I am not), this is your joint. I’m not against them, I’ve just never experienced this caliber of sandwich before, regardless of the cost.
Don’t wait!

The food here was fantastic. My sister and I stopped for lunch and we were very impressed. We both have allergies and they were very accommodating. I got one of their hot sandwiches and the gluten bread was great. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Oh man, the bread. One of the best French dips I have had. Never a fan of $14 dollar sandwiches but immediately forgave the cost after the first bite. Cute place with plenty of seating.
Will stop by again.
Good food. We had the meatball and salad. Really delicious but wish there had been two meatballs. I'll be back. The parking lot looked crowded but very little wait once inside and Plenty of tables

Their food is absolutely delicious, I had a portobello panini and a cup of curry coconut cashew carrot soup.
The atmosphere was a bit loud for me, but it may be due to it being lunch time.
I love the decor, so eclectic and fun.

Awesome spot not far off the highway. Great fresh tasting food (sandwiches hot and cold and salads). Seemed like it was full of locals (a very good sign!). Service was kind and prompt. Overall a great pit stop on the drive between seattle and Portland, way better than fast food!
