Awesome spot not far off the highway. Great fresh tasting food (sandwiches hot and cold and salads). Seemed like it was full of locals (a very good sign!). Service was kind and prompt. Overall a great pit stop on the drive between seattle and Portland, way better than fast food!

The staff is very friendly. They let you sample the soup of the day before you buy. The price is great they have home feeling I side with some antique looks. I upload some pictures of the inside. What is also great is that you order your food and then pick your seating.

Tasty sandwiches and a vegan slice of cake were an u expected surprise in this little cafe along I-5. Joy was very welcoming and our dog enjoyed sitting with us on the shaded porch

This cozy and adorable cafe deserves all the stars. When you walk in, the smell of garlic and spices is enchanting. The atmosphere is pleasant and endearing indoors, with an outdoor area too. The food is homemade and fantastic - everything we ate was absolutely delicious. This is the place!

Once Upon a Thyme was a wonderful place to stop on our way out of town! We arrived just before the lunch rush, so we were able to get a table right away, and the food came out quickly. There’s a great variety to choose from, and everything is made fresh. The sandwiches are made to order, and the chicken and other meats are smoked on-site, which really adds to the flavor.

The wraps were big enough to share, and everything tasted amazing. There’s plenty of parking both in the lot and on the street. The pastries looked absolutely delicious—I wish I had picked one up!

The decor is super cute, and the staff was incredibly friendly. As we sat and enjoyed our food, we noticed that this place had been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri—and I can totally see why!

Great job, y’all—keep up the awesome work. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re traveling the I-5!

I saw this restaurant a few years ago featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. When I saw it was located in Chehalis, I was excited because I have family that lives there, so I told my Aunt Elaine, next time I visit, I’d like to try it out. So, yesterday was the day and it did not disappoint. The only thing was, that it isn’t located in my town!! I had the chicken pesto hot sandwich. So delicious. I highly recommend this cute diner and I will definitely be back!!

Good sandwiches, soups and salads as well as baked goods and a shop with specialized candies, cookies, and other food products. The emphasis is on fresh and organic. There is a lunch rush-wish they had more bathrooms!

The sandwiches here are so delicious! Expect to see a full parking lot, but go inside anyway. It's worth it! Service is fast, and the employees are all kind and attentive. Worth a stop if you are in the area!
