Mint City Coffee Roasting

This is our favorite coffee place. When we stopped by on Thursday to get our favorite drinks, they were roasting beans. We were interested in the process and asked if we could watch. We received a great demonstration/explanation from Ben. He showed us how the color and smell of the bean changed throughout the roasting process. We were so enthralled that we forgot to grab our drinks when they were ready. Our barista brought them to us so we didn't have to miss anything.

If you are interested in the coffee roasting process, highly recommend checking it out if they are roasting during your visit. Pick up some bags of coffee while you are there too (bags are whole bean but the barista will grind for you). And the drinks were delicious as always.

Mint City has the perfect vibe for getting some work done and sipping delicious, fresh roasted coffee. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. If you want to nerd out about the coffee roasting process, Kyle is always ready to dial in a roast to your specific tastes.

I've been getting all of my whole bean coffee freshly roasted from Mint City Coffee since shortly after they opened and every single kind they offer is great. It's wonderful to be able to support such a high quality small business in Chehalis!

Without a doubt the best coffee in Lewis County! This was the first place in the local area that provides such quality coffee/roasting that you can drink it black and enjoy it. No need to turn it into a milkshake just to get it down. Though I prefer black coffee or straight espresso, their drinks menu is stellar. They are always improving and switching things out. Recently I had the raspberry chai and it was maybe the best chai I've ever tasted.

They are on the level with OCR and other 3rd wave roasters. Very friendly staff (and owners) provide a great remote work space.

Only knock is that if I want food/snacks I go elsewhere. There are usually a couple baked goods on the counter and some prepackaged snacks but its not the focus.
