This store has absolutely no concern for the safety of its customers and employees. I had to pick-up a prescription on the 24th. This small store was packed with people and at least a third were not wearing masks or distancing. I spoke with an employee who expressed similar frustration. I heard someone ask for a mask and they said they did not have any. Given this recent Omicron surge, this store is headed for trouble.

We’ve been shopping at this Safeway for years... with all the fears of the virus we hope that the places that we all must frequent would take precautions more seriously. Last week while shopping we saw a woman working in the produce area wearing her mask as more of a chin strap and mentioned it to an associate at the cashier and she assured us it would be addressed, but today the same woman was in the produce area wearing her mask as a chin strap again... I’m more than a little dissatisfied and disappointed!

the grocery part is great, but the deli needs work! I dont know how they changed the Chinese food there but its disgusting! The fried rice is over oily, sticky and mushy with no flavor. The chicken for the sweet and sour chicken was just mainly deep fried batter within real chicken, the peices that had a little bit of chicken in them were hard and dry. The sweet and sour sauce is skimpily given and very watered down. For the $12 I paid them for lunch I could have gotten better food for cheaper at an actual restaurant.

the fact that I was an out of town person, traveling and stopped to do some simple shopping, the local people were very helpful in guiding me to find what I wanted in an unfamiliar store. also, the staff was very friendly.

I just want to give a shout out to Shanna in the deli for her absolutely fabulous service this evening. She went above and beyond to make sandwiches for my daughter and myself when we were lookin for one that is no longer an option in the cold case. Thank you, Shanna, for your awesome customer service & friendly, cheerful attitude!!
I love this store. My family and I live just a few blocks away and shop there often. They have always been friendly and helpful. But they go above and beyond. They are kind people who care. One time we forgot a box of tea at the check out. We called. They knew exactly what we were talking about. We sent our son to get it and he returned with the tea and a kind note that still hangs in my tea cupboard. Today my son went to get me three ingredients I needed to finish my holiday baking. It included a large jar of cherries and a pint of heavy cream. As he left the store the bag broke breaking the contents. My son cleaned it up and the WONDERFUL crew at Safeway made holiday magic by replacing the items for my son before he left. Thanx to you all for the continuous help, the wonderful smiles and commitment to community.

Safeway Bakery makes the best donuts in town. Made daily before 6 in the morning. These bakers make great cakes. They are professional cake decorators. We have purchased many different types of cakes for many occasions. Located on South Market Street inside the Chehalis Safeway store.
