Chelan is always a good vibe but the compass cafe 100% made our morning walk better! We were searching for a chill breakfast spot with good coffee and we found it! 10/10 chill service and 10/10 coffee and food. Definitely recommend stopping by. It’s also right across the street from a park with lake access. A bit pricey but the amount of food and quality of it is worth it. Small cafe with good vibes!

The food was pretty good but price is exorbitant for what you get, even for the area. Food tool 1/2 hour to arrive as kitchen was understaffed. Utensils and condiments you're basically on your own, service not great. Doesn't seem like the staff have the support they need so have largely given up.

Rude service. 1 hour wait. Don’t go there. So many better restaurants with 100 times better customer service. Very unpleasant

I stayed at the Riverwalk Inn and watched the line grow before the cafe was open!
The only warning I have is the long wait. 45 minutes and they let you know as you order how long it takes. I did watch a tall gentleman place an order, he was told there was a 35-45 minute wait. 30 minutes later he was very aggravated and said no one told him. (As he was ordering he even asked if something could be microwaved really quick, which they said they don't carry that kind of stuff) He must have forgotten... Maybe next time he will just go to Starbucks.
They refunded his food because he wanted to leave. They were extremely professional handling the situation and stood their ground which is refreshing to see.
I decided to get biscuits and gravy and it was delicious! I suspect everything is made in house which is exactly why everything takes so long.
Please remember this is a small town, very busy cafe before ordering as it seems the only complaints I see is wait time. Looking around there were only a few places for breakfast, if you don't mind waiting and you want big orders with delicious homemade food, this is the place for you!

The staff were friendly but the service was extremely slow. The food was good and the presentation was well done.

We stumbled upon this little cafe and were BLOWN AWAY by the thought, care, and love that went into each pastry and plate of food. The food was absolutely amazing, the pastries (especially the scones and the almond croissants) were delectable, and the lattes were a celebration of coffee. The owners truly care about providing an amazing experience through each bite. All I can say is: GO!!!! You'll love it. And save a lot of time to sit, relax, and enjoy.

I received my huge cinnamon roll immediately, however it took over 35 minutes to receive an order of biscuits and gravy. It wasn't too busy, so the wait didn't make sense. Over all, the food tasted good.

I think it's neat that folks that are low on funds can order a bagel and coffee.

Best cinnamon rolls in Chelan, some of the yummiest breakfast here - definitely the best avocado toast in Chelan. Total bakery & breakfast hidden gem. Their sandwiches and salads are amazing too. Plus owned by a great family with amazing values (the food fund!). Need more owners and businesses out here like them!

Aside from being fed by my own mother, I have never felt more loved or cared for by a group of ladies than when I ate at Compass Cafe. If you are yearning for that feeling of home away from home you need to visit the kind people at this place. It’s like the best parts of Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter all baked into one lovely dining experience.

Cute little cafe right next to the park with free wifi. Food was simple and delicious. Note that this cafe is inside an inn, so the cafe sign isn't obvious from the street.
