I received my huge cinnamon roll immediately, however it took over 35 minutes to receive an order of biscuits and gravy. It wasn't too busy, so the wait didn't make sense. Over all, the food tasted good.
I think it's neat that folks that are low on funds can order a bagel and coffee.

Best cinnamon rolls in Chelan, some of the yummiest breakfast here - definitely the best avocado toast in Chelan. Total bakery & breakfast hidden gem. Their sandwiches and salads are amazing too. Plus owned by a great family with amazing values (the food fund!). Need more owners and businesses out here like them!

Aside from being fed by my own mother, I have never felt more loved or cared for by a group of ladies than when I ate at Compass Cafe. If you are yearning for that feeling of home away from home you need to visit the kind people at this place. It’s like the best parts of Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter all baked into one lovely dining experience.

Great little gem with scratch made items, and good coffee. Cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious! Order at the counter and find a seat, we sat outside with our dog.

Stopped in for coffee and bagel but couldn’t resist a loaf of rosemary sourdough! The nicest staff, cute shop, and the bread is delicious. The bagel was delicious too. Looking forward to going again to try other menu items. There is an option to donate to a fund as they also provide food to people unable to pay. A business with a ❤️. Beautiful.

I just have to give a shout out to the incredible new owners at Riverwalk Inn. They have done such a wonderful job since taking over, and probably have some of the best customer service I've ever experienced!I was really excited to see them post last night, that they'd be making a batch of their monster cookies! I missed snagging one during the pride fest and have thought about them on and off ever since, so I promised the kids we'd go grab some today before heading to volunteer at rhe teen center.Of course I forgot all about it until we were leaving around 1230, and they had sold out by then ??I was sad but went ahead and ordered two of their double chocolate cookies instead (which were delicious!!) And while chatting w the gal at the counter she said that they were in the process of making more if I wanted to come back in a few. I told her I'd be at the teen center volunteering until 3 so I would just go ahead and take the two cookies and wait for another day.This sweet gal (I believe the owners daughter) insisted on bringing me a cookie after they closed, and not only did she do just that, she also dropped off some extra cinnamon rolls and the teens were so thankful!Talk about going the extra mile!! Please continue to support this wonderful family ran establishment, so they can stay forever!

We went to the Compass Cafe after it was recommended to us the day before on our flight with Lake Chelan Helicopters. It is a cute cafe with very friendly staff. My understanding is they bake all their goods daily so everything is super fresh. I had the avocado toast which I had never tried before and it was delicious. I liked the coffee as well. I loved the small town setting and the park and lake across the street created a beautiful view. I highly recommend this cafe!
