Food was alright but a small glass of orange juice cost $7. So just don't get the oj I guess. Smh
The service and atmosphere are subpar (&apparently the food is too) - we should’ve read the recent reviews. Upon hearing it was a 40 minute wait in the tiny waiting space I jokingly asked a fellow patron if it was worth the wait for the food and they rolled their eyes at me. We did get our name on the list and were quoted a 15 minute wait and decided to wait in the car as the small town crowd smashed in the tiny wait space did not seem friendly at all. After 10 minutes we walked back in and they’d crossed us off and moved us down the list, presumably seating the 2 top after us. This part was fair, however we waited there for about 10 additional minutes for the staff to come over to see what the wait would be now. Not a single staff member walked over.
We ended up leaving the uncomfortable wait space and going back down the street to The Mason Jar where the food and coffee are always great, queers are always welcome (thank god for no weird side eyes), and there was even a local Cheney police event and the officers were friendly ☺️

Service is great really nice place, they need a new chef. Worst breakfast ever, burnt to a crisp and took forever. Really really bad.

An exceedingly subpar experience. Went in about 8 on a Friday morning on our way through Cheney. We had high hopes because we heard there’s a family connection with one of our favorites in Spokane, Kalico Kitchen. This place is disappointingly nothing like the other. To begin with the place was FREEZING cold! We asked the server and she said the system was on but it takes a long time to warm up. We spent our whole visit in our coats. Service was lackluster at best. We had to ask for a coffee refill which should never happen, especially since we were only one of four tables. The server paid more attention to the walk in to go customer than she did to us. Food itself was okay but still below expectation. For the price, I was expecting more than a frozen biscuit and a dry overcooked chicken fried steak patty. Homemade biscuits are not hard to make and would have vastly improved the meal. If this is the best breakfast in Cheney I’d consider moving. One and done for us.

Stopped in yesterday after visiting Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. We ordered our food, two of us had coffee. Not once did the young waitress come by to see if we wanted more coffee or to see if we needed anything. One person having coffee had to ask for a refill, which never should of had to happen if someone was doing their job. The other person was never asked if they wanted a refill. The bill came, it was 47.65, I gave her 60.00 she asked if I wanted change back, I said yes. I'm a great tipper, always tip more than is required. When I finally got the change back, the girl said here is your 12.00, should of been 12.35. I left a 4.00 tip. I will never go back here. There is no customer service and they can't add up change.

Prices are a bit high, but the food is excellent and worth getting up a bit earlier for. No major complaints, and I will certainly be back with my family!
