**NO ALLERGEN WARNINGS**I have eaten at El Rodeo multiple times and always have a great experience….until I ordered the enchilada. I had an allergic reaction to the enchilada because the sauce contains peanuts. Why would there be peanuts in the sauce? Peanuts are one of the most common, and most life threatening allergies in the US. The menu did not contain a * or an ingredient list of any kind for the meal that I ordered. When chatting with the workers they mentioned that the front of the menu states “tell us about your allergies”. I understand this at an ice cream place or another location where peanuts are present, but why would I think that there would be peanuts in my meal? This feels very irresponsible and careless on El Rodeo’s part.El Rodeo refunded my meal but not without acting like it was my fault. Thankfully I did not have to go to the hospital, but I did spend the rest of my Friday night covered in hives and vomiting. I really hope this never happens to anyone again.

Cheney, even as a college town, is something of a culinary desert. Not a lot of options for dining. Of the three Mexican restaurants we have tried in Cheney, this one merits a return visit. You can avoid driving to the casino or Spokane just to get something decent to eat.

Got in late to town showed up at the restaurant about 40 minutes before closing. Staff was friendly and hospitable.. Margaritas were delicious , will drinks for a good pours. Love the salsa, grape flavor wish they had hotter stuff . Food was delicious great flavor and huge portions. Cute little complementary dessert afterwards. Prices are very good and reasonable. Definitely would recommend this place. .
