Went in a little before 5pm, and the two employees looked at me annoyed and seemed to not want to take my order, do not greet me, and I had to say hello and walk over to them as they continued to look irritated.The waitress, still seeming pissed off at me, takes my order. The cook goes and grabs the food while the waitress gets the ice cream I bought. I decide to take my food to go because of how weird and unwelcoming they were.
I get home and go to eat my food, the sausage with a side of mac and cheese, and find the sausage very burnt and missing the pickled onions the dish is supposed to come with.
Honestly really terrible food and service. The sausage was inedible.

This place was amazing. We had the Chopped Brisket Sandwich, Pulled Pork, smoked mac n cheese, cole slaw, and pretzel. The meat was tender, flavorful, moist. The smokey flavor was perfect. Sides were delicious, no complaints at all. The server was fabulous. We had a not so compliant three year old and she was great at trying to distract and please her. The kitchen was quick, food was out in minutes and perfect temp. Music and atmosphere were great too. Overall impressed and will be back next time we are up in the area.

We were in town fishing and this place was recommended by a local. We had the meat sampler and some sides. Great service & cute place. I recommend the pulled pork, Mac and cheese, Mexican street corn & Texas Twinkie! If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend coming here!

You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. It’s hands down some of the best barbecue in Washington, and such a hidden gem.
