Made from scratch peach scones! Cinnamon french toast, bacon and eggs. Smooth, full bodied black coffee and amazing fresh pressed juices! Yummy! Friendly service and Loulou the dog is an absolute sweetheart.

Today we found a hidden gem in Chewelah WA. Food was AMAZING. I highly recommend the Ruben! Staff is very friendly and after speaking with the owner Paul, we learned most everything from the glutin free bread & glutin free pancake mix to the yogurt is all made in house. Other items are sourced locally.Give them a try, I promise you will not be disappointed

Great place for quality food! A little small on portions which could be a problem for some. Eclectic inside all the way from tables to silverware which only adds to the interesting atmosphere

The pancakes are the best I ever had! And then I find out they’re actually gluten-free? Wow! They serve that with real maple syrup, two eggs, however you would like them cooked, and wonderful service. I can’t imagine a better place for breakfast. I also had their Reuben on another visit, and I must say, it really matters that they corn their own beef. It was outstanding. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Kid-friendliness: There are games, books, coloring books, high chairs, and a great atmosphere.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free bread, by the loaf, or as a side, gluten-free cookies, they are willing to accommodate vegetarian or vegan, if I asked.

To say this place is adorable is an understatement! It was so cozy and homey! It was able to accommodate a table of 8 no problem. The food is all made to order and delicious! Hand squeezed orange juice and carrot juice with ginger. The biscuits and gravy were amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.
First off I have to mention this is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Chewelah Washington!! Food is delicious and the staff are fantastic!! With that said I have to say I was disappointed for the first time by this coffee house, ( as they call themselves a coffee house) With this in mind they should be able to make a simple coffee order. Which was a "dirty chia" this is chia tea with two shots of espresso and milk, I ordered an extra two shots and iced. Which really should not be a problem if you add ice first. I generally get my "dirty chia " at The Yale Press, they offer more hours of being open there, and they have never had any issues with making my drink. I always order the same drink. Paul came out after making drink apologizing because he couldn't fit the drink I ordered in a 20oz glass? What he made was more like a 20oz glass of espresso. I poured most of it out. Being that I couldn't taste chia or the milk. And that's why most people order a "dirty chia" I still favor this place over all other places in town.. And plan to continue supporting their business, I think it's important to support your local businesses. Just confused why a place that calls themselves a "coffee house" Stumbled on making something as simple as a "dirty chia"?? Have a great day.

Great little haunt along the highway in Chewelah, WA. Excellent food and coffee. They have a pick-up window if you call ahead for your food order. Not open every day, so check Facebook for schedule.

It was pouring down rain. Decided to pick up their massive delicious burrito and eat a scone while I sipped my coffee waiting for the burrito. 100% kitchen made and so delicious!
Excellent meals and bakery goods made from scratch, quality often local ingredients, community and cozy atmosphere, sustainable emphasis…what’s not to like! The chefs care about food and it shows since they balance flavors with skill. Menu provides ample choices yet small enough to promise consistent quality, and specials are creative. Full and half plates offered with reasonable prices. A hidden and unpolished gem.
A gourmet restaurant masquerading as a coffeehouse. Seriously, the food is delicious!
I went there for breakfast had oatmeal, carrot juice, and played cribbage with their boards and deck of cards, which was all! :-) Thank you so much!
