I am a fan of good whiskey, scotch, Irish, bourbon. ..this is none of those. The whiskey is raw almost as if straight from the still. The aging, if any, should be much longer in good wooden casks. Unlike wine aging in the bottle will not help. Other distillers are on Whidbey...try them.

Cadée is by far one of my favorite Distilleries. I was there to do a tasting with Darcy and ended up buying their newest addition Medusa Whiskey. And I have to say, it lives up to the hype and then some. I still favor the Deceptivus, a port finished bourbon. If you ever visit Whidbey Island, make sure to add this to your list of places to visit!

Arrived at this location during normal business hours on a Saturday and it was closed. The doors were locked and no one answered the phone. I asked the business next door and they stated cadre opens when it feels like it. Shame Shame

OK experience with Cadee Distillery Tasting Room, I'm sure it would be better this summer.
Brought my four brothers to Cadee Distillery Tasting Room over the holidays and found their bourbon and vodka the best we've ever had!! Nice little tasting room just off the ferry, the knowledgable and friendly staff made for a great experience.

Very friendly and knowledgeable owner. He really knows his stuff and how things like the water, barrels, and barometric pressure can affect the end result. Has a great selection of gins and whiskeys. It's hard to catch them when they're open but it's definitely worth the effort.
