Never tried the food. Just moved to town. Was going to give it a try the atmosphere not so good.The big heater turned on it was so loud and noisy that it made the situation very hard to spend my money. Communication was a huge issue.

My husband misread the bill that would have given our waitress a 85.00 tip. She ran into the parking lot to catch us and fix it. Honesty goes a long way these days. I recommend everyone stop by. Good food and chill atmosphere.

I have been going to.⚠️ Hong Kong Gardens ⚠️ "The Top" for 40+ years the New Owner (Jennifer) have completely DESTROYED it. ☢️I liked to go on Friday/Saturday nights & watch the "Human Circus", -(karaoke, young people, fighting, crazy drunks). I like to play Pool and watch the Circus. -I avoid being involved in the circus but I did get pulled in couple months ago. A kid (Jessy -now Bartender) like to go out and SMOKE POT, Jessy come back & claims we/I stole his "Spot" at pool. BullCrap‼️‼️ Jessy even tried to start a fist-fight w me.. Um, I'm 63, he's 25ish, Really⁉️I just got off the phone w Jennifer (OWNER) and I'm 86 - forever. She could NOT give me a REASON for being (kicked out) - "86ed".? Bartenders, a few friends worked for her & she paid 'em "under min wage - "under the table"‼️‼️‼️I ordered $$ FOOD $$ there a few times and ALWAYS regretted it. Over Priced, Small portions, fried-rice is just rice -Period -no veggies -no pork, just Rice w soy sauce.? Very WEAK DRINK'SI even went back, complained once, this drink is weak.. Nothing!! Still weak drink's every time..Yep don't recommend a place at all.I tried speaking with Jennifer (Owner) on the telephone she would ? hear a thing I said.I don't cause trouble, drama.I just liked Playing Pool w my friends and enjoying the view.Wheelchair accessibility: I went to go outside once and a kid in a wheelchair was blocking the door. There's a DRUNK UNDERAGE GIRL they're trying not to let back in...

Awesome place with Awesome fish! We ordered the garlic flavored fish and two of us came home with a balloon-stomach filled with fish cuisine and take-out bag filled with the rest portions of the almost-10-ibs fish! Will definitely come back again and again and again!

The food is amazing, the portions are excellent (especially for the price), and staff is clearly trying their best. Here’s a huge indicator of how good the food is: everyone who was there when I went was ethnically Chinese. This restaurant was an actual DESTINATION for them, bc the food is that good!Okay, I get it, the atmosphere is a little weird but it clearly used to be a dive bar in its past life. I don’t think this is the place you go to for a romantic candlelight dinner with excellent cocktails, and it feels silly that those are expectations in some of these low reviews. Just take in the amazing view and eat some good food and chuckle at how weird the place is. I’d definitely go back.
This is a weird one. The food was DELICIOUS. The service was perfect. The view is beautiful. Checks all the boxes except the atmosphere. You'd think you were going to an abandoned restaurant. Lol and the inside needs major work. Updating etc. Bathrooms are tired. But we will definitely be going back. The food and people are well worth it.

Such good food! The initial prospect on seeing the restaurant and walking in was quite disappointing but it has a great view up on a hill over the ferry terminal looking off over the Sound towards Everett. Staff was friendly, food was prompt and so tasty. Looks can be deceiving! Wish this was in our town!

Family run Chinese restaurant. Food quality is very good. We were a group of vegetarians. We can tell the ingredients were fresh. Especially like the Mapo Tofu, Dry fried Eggplant, and String beans. The view is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit if you are on Whidbey.

Food and drinks were very good...Kung Pao Chicken, Vegetable Delight, Fried Tofu and Fried Chicken....good heat and fresh vegetables. The view from the dining room is lovely. Unfortunately the atmosphere leaves alot to be desired.

View is great. Picture windows could use a good cleaning. Food was quite good. The veggies in the dishes that we ordered seemed very fresh. Odd that we were not offered drinks and had to request them. Nice night out.
