The fare at this place is most excellent, and the price is fair and fitting. Verily, I shall return anon. I am particularly enamored with their rice, beans, and mole sauce, which are delightful to the taste.

With over 60k miles traversed via sail / air / car these past 7 years, my palette knows a thing or two about authenticity. Growing up in a Latin community, has refined that palette even sharper. So when we arrived here on (South) Whidbey Island, we had a few options for authenticity. Spaceship mexican place that we've chuckled at more than a few times, then there's the street taco truck @ Scott Rd. Then.... there's Patron... A family owned, 'come on in and be welcomed like family', kinda place. Authenticity has found a home on S. Whidbey. Burrito Carnitas & Carnitas Patron were the choices off of their vast menu. Bringing back memories of those cobblestone days in Tinacatita, or the oceanside ten days in Santa Cruz just North of P.V.... Great Food, Great Vibe, Great Evening...

The only sot down Mexican food that does not know what fajitas are! Not a single ingredient is Mexican, not even Mexican seasoning. Why did Patron serve "fajitas" with no bell pepper or caramelize onion? No, these ate not pickled carrots. Its freezer veggies. Patron, vegetarian means "hold the meat", not serve freezer veggies...
Its the best mexican restaurant on the south end! Good food, GREAT drinks. If your thirsty i would highly recommend their Cadillac margarita! Ya only need one! And the one good thing that came out of covid lock downs.. margaritas TO GO! i do not endorse drinking and driving. But if you do hopefully you live close by.. lol
Parking: It does fill up during the dinner rush, but kens korner has vast parking spaces so a little further to walk wont kill ya.
Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids, even if they are hiding under the tables or throwing a temper-tantrum or being cute well behaved individuals. No problems here
Wheelchair accessibility: I am currently not in a wheelchair. Although from what i see, they should have no problem getting in the restaurant
