Huge portions and possibly the most authentic Mexican food in the Seattle area. Try the seafood soup!

We had been here a couple of years ago and was not impressed with the food and the fact the dining room is dingy and dirty. We decided to give it another try as there are so few options for Mexican food on the island. Food was just okay and while it was reasonably priced the place is simply depressing. Stained ceilings, dirty decor etc, which makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is...

Wow. Wonderful service, called for pick up and all I got was a groan and she hung up. If you didn't want my money just say it. Don't act like a child. Will never go back.

It's pretty good... Lacks the same options as most joints in WA (no lengua or other tasties) and no real spicy options, but the food is solid enough and priced decently.

It was ok. Nothing fancy. Refried beans were pretty soupy.

I was working on the island for an entire week and of all the places I chose and found to eat this is definitely the most affordable with a huge portion of food. The restaurant is very clean with an extremely friendly staff who were at my table frequently making sure everything was good. I enjoyed a Modelo with a with the Grande 3 choice dinner. I had the chicken chimichanga, chili relleno and tamale. With a nice portion of rice and beans my plate was enormous and extremely delicious. This would be the restaurant I would definitely recommend especially not wanting to spend a fortune on food. I would not hesitate bringing my kids here, the restaurant seems very friendly and inviting. The restaurant is located just off the main Highway in a strip mall parking lot with plenty of parking out front. You enter a corridor and then the entrance to the restaurant is just to your left. I like that a side of refried beans with served with my chips and salsa.

Dirty place with bad food
Here on the island for our anniversary and stopped here. Strong margaritas, awesome service and wonderful food.
Great food and wonderful service. Favorite Mexican restaurant.

5 stars based on their lamb dish (SO GOOD!) and how awesome the staff have been to us the 15-20 times we’ve been here. If you’re at all a lamb person, try theirs.
Best Mexican on South Whidbey!
Dated decor, but the food was good.
The fare at this place is most excellent, and the price is fair and fitting. Verily, I shall return anon. I am particularly enamored with their rice, beans, and mole sauce, which are delightful to the taste.
With over 60k miles traversed via sail / air / car these past 7 years, my palette knows a thing or two about authenticity. Growing up in a Latin community, has refined that palette even sharper. So when we arrived here on (South) Whidbey Island, we had a few options for authenticity. Spaceship mexican place that we've chuckled at more than a few times, then there's the street taco truck @ Scott Rd. Then.... there's Patron... A family owned, 'come on in and be welcomed like family', kinda place. Authenticity has found a home on S. Whidbey. Burrito Carnitas & Carnitas Patron were the choices off of their vast menu. Bringing back memories of those cobblestone days in Tinacatita, or the oceanside ten days
in Santa Cruz just North of P.V.... Great Food,
Great Vibe,
Great Evening...
