We have always enjoyed Rancho Chico. We have dined in and taken out. Food is good and filling. Owners should replace the carpeting as it is getting close to 25 years old and smells. If replacement is not possible try professional cleaning .Owners should stop taking the restaurant phone off the hook. This practice is frustrating when a take out order is wanted.

Working out of town near Colville WA, I decided to have dinner at Rancho Chico. I liked the vibe when I walked into the restaurant. It was clean and tidy. The wait staff were well dressed, polite and helpful with the menu. The chips and salsa were excellent. The chips were fresh and the salsa was spicy! They brought out a bowl of a cabbage with the salsa that was very tasty. I had the Orroz Con Pollo. It was a large plate full of goodness. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was very edible. Of course I had to have an adult beverage to complement the dinner. If you are in the area, I would recommend having a meal at Rancho Chico.

The food was good/ok . Sadly taking 10 minutes after fajita plate delivery to get tortillas meant cold fajita filling. I had the queso birria , bit oddly served vs description. Big tortilla, flat with cheese and meat inside. Then cut into pizza slices. Made it difficult to eat where if it was rolled burro style it's would have been nearly a 5. Leaving a pitcher of ice water on the table was odd. Great salsa though with cabbage shred and fresh chips. Atmosphere is standard Mexican American restaurant. Worth a 2nd visit to see if they make changes.
