I just picked up a bunch of GF cookie boxes for holiday gifties!! So YUM. Happy tummies!
First time I ate here, I didn’t realize it was gluten free. Wasn’t until my second visit when I noticed it on the menu.
Now it’s a must stop when we are driving by Concrete.
Delicious pastries and dishes.

We were so excited to discover 5b’s Bakery while visiting my aunt in Marblemount. My son has been GF for more than a decade. It was refreshing to have safe (AND tasty) options for him to enjoy while traveling. We appreciated the friendly staff, robust menu, and clear labels.
Cinnamon rolls are fantastic!

Super cute cafe. Delicious food with lots of options.
Dietary restrictions: Completely gluten free bakery and cafe. They use a lot of eggs in the foods but there are some egg-free choices. The breads are great.

All the ladies that work here are so kind and welcoming. They have gone above and beyond for my son who has a gluten intolerance. I enjoy coming here!

We went there for breakfast on our last day in Concrete.
The food was overall pretty good.
I got the breakfast sandwich & the kid got the chicken & waffles. Breakfast sandwich was good. The biscuit was a little dry, but otherwise it was good. The chicken & waffles were really good.
Also ordered a strawberry/rhubarb bundt cake, snickerdoodle cookie, cream puff, & some "Duffins" which were like muffins but in donut hole form.
The cookie & the duffins were great. The kid seemed to enjoy the cream puff.
The bundt cake was kinda weird. It had vegetables in it, & was also pretty dry.
Granted, I didn't eat it the same day I bought it, which was probably partly why it was a little dry.
I also assume that since it's a gluten-free bakery, that is one of the trade-offs. Gluten-free baked goods always seem to lack the moist, airy qualities of non gluten-free items.
Unfortunate side effect.
Would totally recommend this place & go back. The staff were super friendly & they do have a lot of delectable items to choose from. I'm certain you'll find something that suits your fancy.
But choose wisely... lol

Very lovely group of women who work there!
It was nice to see the take away meals and fresh food options. A little bit of everything even with a done in menu.
I picked up the Ginger, Chocolate Chip, and Lemon cookie. All moist and full of flavor, highly recommend any of them. The food is delicious and a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch if your in the area camping. This really helped with my coffee fix in the morning.
Parking: Parking lot was always busy the weekend I spent out at Mount Baker. I was able to get a parking spot but I would also suggest the street to make it easier.

Had NO idea all the items here were gluten free. And we walked out spending $25! I ordered a little sausage quiche, got a ham one instead, I ran into very few pieces of ham. Hubby ordered a spicy bagel dog and an ice cream cone. For $25?!?! I imagine things were so expensive because of the gluten free platform, but not sure. Bakery was cute and ladies were nice, but man, that’s a lot of money! I didn’t see prices posted in the case for the items we ordered. Hate that!

Really funky cafe, with great inclusive vibes, ambient music and friendly staff. Coffee (espresso) was fantastic and so were the pastries. I was happy to bump onto this place when driving by. Would absolutely come again.

A hidden gem in the town of Concrete, worth pulling off the highway to check out. Great baked goods, we had a hard time deciding what to try! Super friendly vibes and service. Will definitely stop in next time we're passing through on the North Cascades Highway.

This is the place in town for a quick sit down or grab and go meal. Incredible and delicious bakery selection, warm atmosphere and polite staff, we will be back next time camping in the area!
