Food was awesome. Big delicious burgers. Large portions of fries or onion rings. The onion rings were the best I've had in years.
The interior? It needs some love. It has a musty odor. Maybe because it's next to the river and has been flooded a few times? Maybe the fish tank? Not sure. The tables and booth seats are maybe 40 years old.
Service was great. Friendly staff.

This place is a dive, in the best possible way. Great food, cold beer (a good selection of local micros), friendly service and that small town, hole in the wall vibe everyone loves. Conway Pub is an institution in Skagit Valley. I highly recommend you stop in the next time you're in the area!

Absolutely horrible experience, both with the quality of food and with management. After two to-go burgers took 45 minutes to make, we got them back to the concert we were attending and the food was completely incorrect. I spoke to the manager (Sarah) the next day and she promised a refund and took the info she needed to process it on the next business day. That was mid-July, the refund has not happened and she has avoided my calls and messages since. I filed a complaint with the BBB and am still in the process of disputing the charge on my credit card since the manager won't do what she promised. Dishonest management practices and no concern for customer experience or quality of product.

Where did the vibe go? No music. Slow service. No motorcycles. People smoking in the outdoor patio area. No smoked oysters. At least my chicken burger was still good. It's sad to see this significant negative shift over the recent years.

Atmosphere is great. Customer service is horrible. Not to mention the waitress is doing coccaine while serving people. Appears very jittery and can’t walk straight. Was over charged for some items. Love the place but hesitant to go back

We used to love this place for many years. Now the food was mediocre and expensive, they were out of several items like French fries, but didn't let us know for 10 minutes
Sevice was bad and she kept. apologies .it's not the old conway

I ate here on July 20, 2024. I came up from Snohomish to have some sauteed oysters. In the past I would usually get these and if I was there on the weekends in the summer I would get the BBQ's Oysters on the half shell or pan fried oysters. In the past the oysters were lush and excellently well prepared and tasted fantastic. Well with the new management the sauteed oysters were quite different .... more of a Louisiana style with small sauteed oysters sitting in oyster/butter or oil sauce along with garlic bread part soaking in the sauce. At first look not so appetizing. I had never seen this kind of prep before. I thought this is what I am here for and ate all of them and bread too. Not half bad at all. I think tho the pub menu should say these are Louisiana Style - that would have been a bit intriguing. I can understand some folks might be put off by the look of the dish but I found this style of dish was better than I thought it would have been.

I also had a Swiss Bacon Chicken Basket and chose to have Sweet Potato Fries with it. Huge sandwich, giant chicken cut - biggest I've ever seen. Fries were tasty, lightly sweet, small like McD's fries, and I couldn't stop eating them. Ok, they were bigger than a few years back, but hey, it's a different management now and I'm open to try new things. I don't mind the difference. The sandwich was so big that half way through it I decided to eat it by pieces. The chicken was lightly favorable, not dry, lightly juicy and I ate all of it and all the rest of the concoction. I had a Space Dust beer ... a favorite, tho this time not as cold which made it last longer throughout the meal experience.

I'm used to the longer wait for service and food coming out from the last management because the food then was worth the wait and the staff and customers were not invasive. I rather liked that... I can eat relaxed. This time around service and time for food to get to me was a huge improvement... much faster for sure. A big plus for a change.

New management .... I was deadpan a bit there... seeing how the experience would feel. It was good. Place wasn't crowded at all when I went... will have to visit when there more folks there. Do I miss the last management and staff .... sure. I am open to the present management to see what emerges. I debate coming back and I'm leaving that opportunity open... so yes I plan to return. The pub remains on my to-go list. I'm diabetic type 2 and my test when I got home was under 120. Also I didn't feel overly filled after I had left. And I didn't get sick later or nor did I have any feeling I needed to make it to a restroom. All great signs of great food quality, cooking skills and safe-handling. I can deal with the extra cost of the dishes. Look around, other than fast food, eating out these days is expensive anyway. If you are the type of customer expecting stellar super fast service ... well this might not be for you, but if you are seeking a comfortable, relaxing experience and not getting hassled by the wait staff... this is a good place for the kind of socializing in a pub you love to do with filling eats and favorite drinks and yes flat screens sports videos. The menu has quite the variety... still enticing.

So thanks to the staff for my experience. Hang in there. I'll be back.

Went to the Conway Pub Saturday July 20th.
Service and food was slow, food finally came it was cold! Waitress said she would bring us new hot fries! We waited she never brought them! So disappointed we went inside to pay the bill! $53 Wow!!!!

She gave us a discount of $3.60 for the cold $20 hamburger, $20 Halibut hamburger and sweet potato fries! It was not busy at all no excuse for cold food!!! It was the new waitresses 4th shift!

We were looking forward to going there!

Not worth the way over priced menu!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THE CONWAY PUB!!!
