After hearing they had new owners and reading recent reviews we decided to try Conway Pub tonight after several years. Very glad we did. Food was great- Oyster Basket had 5 very large oysters cooked perfectly. My husband liked the Cole slaw and fries. I had the Oyster Burger which was just like it used to be, could have maybe used one more oyster as the bun was rather large. But very tasty and just what I was in the mood for and had missed the past couple years. Service was EXCELLENT- so much better than I ever remember it there. We ate outside and there was a good band playing inside we could hear. We will definitely be back.

Went to have the lunch special, fish & chips. Within about 5 minutes after finishing the meal, I started getting stomach craps. I immediately left the pub and headed home. I live close so arrived about 5 minutes, pulled into my driveway and immediately vomited. After several more, I made it into the house and sat on the toilet, off and on, for 4+ hours, still vomiting also. I didn't feel slightly better until midnight.

This place has excellent char-broiled burgers, which is the main reason I go there..! Their food is very good indeed..!! It is probably best to eat outside in the beer garden on a nice day, because the inside is quite dark, and the tables are visually clean, but unusually sticky for some reason. It may just be due to the strange varnish on their tables, but they always feel sticky to me, and I want to put a tablecloth or even a newspaper on them when I go there...! Having said that, it will certainly not prevent me from going back there for some delicious food....!! Their upgrades, like tater tots and onion rings are not overly expensive like most places are. (Their tartar sauce is not great, but I have been known to keep a couple of Ivars tartar sauce packets in my pocket for just such an occasion...!!! 😄 Same with Heinz 57 sauce, which they do not have even though they are a steak restaurant) The service has always been excellent in my experience..! Come to this laid-back tavern and order an amazing Char-broiled Burger, a steak, or some seafood. This place is great..!..!

Under new ownership, this place is a fantastic place to go with 🧡 friends now. Food was large portions, cooked to perfection, owners and staff operated in a TEAM and addressed our table of 4 multiple times. They also make a great drink. If you are into pull tabs, they just arrived. Very clean. If you smoke, your spot is on the street when you need one. Kid friendly. Thank you for a job well done.

Food was awesome. Big delicious burgers. Large portions of fries or onion rings. The onion rings were the best I've had in years. The interior? It needs some love. It has a musty odor. Maybe because it's next to the river and has been flooded a few times? Maybe the fish tank? Not sure. The tables and booth seats are maybe 40 years old. Service was great. Friendly staff.
This place is a dive, in the best possible way. Great food, cold beer (a good selection of local micros), friendly service and that small town, hole in the wall vibe everyone loves. Conway Pub is an institution in Skagit Valley. I highly recommend you stop in the next time you're in the area!

Absolutely horrible experience, both with the quality of food and with management. After two to-go burgers took 45 minutes to make, we got them back to the concert we were attending and the food was completely incorrect. I spoke to the manager (Sarah) the next day and she promised a refund and took the info she needed to process it on the next business day. That was mid-July, the refund has not happened and she has avoided my calls and messages since. I filed a complaint with the BBB and am still in the process of disputing the charge on my credit card since the manager won't do what she promised. Dishonest management practices and no concern for customer experience or quality of product.

Where did the vibe go? No music. Slow service. No motorcycles. People smoking in the outdoor patio area. No smoked oysters. At least my chicken burger was still good. It's sad to see this significant negative shift over the recent years.

Atmosphere is great. Customer service is horrible. Not to mention the waitress is doing coccaine while serving people. Appears very jittery and can’t walk straight. Was over charged for some items. Love the place but hesitant to go back
