This place is a dive, in the best possible way. Great food, cold beer (a good selection of local micros), friendly service and that small town, hole in the wall vibe everyone loves. Conway Pub is an institution in Skagit Valley. I highly recommend you stop in the next time you're in the area!
I ate here on July 20, 2024. I came up from Snohomish to have some sauteed oysters. In the past I would usually get these and if I was there on the weekends in the summer I would get the BBQ's Oysters on the half shell or pan fried oysters. In the past the oysters were lush and excellently well prepared and tasted fantastic. Well with the new management the sauteed oysters were quite different .... more of a Louisiana style with small sauteed oysters sitting in oyster/butter...
The interior? It needs some love. It has a musty odor. Maybe because it's next to the river and has been flooded a few times? Maybe the fish tank? Not sure. The tables and booth seats are maybe 40 years old.
Service was great. Friendly staff.
