Golden Phoenix Chinese Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised with the food. The fried rice is excellent. It has a lot of flavour and and a nice texture. I really enjoyed their sweet and sour sauce but it's a bit runny and the chop suey had a lot of meat and the vegetables were well cooked and still crisp. I would definitely order from here again

Never underestimate your taste buds when you want taste of home cook meal Chinese food style! Been back and forth for over 25+ years.
Try it you will never go any where else.

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant in all of Washington state. The interior is clean, The menu is filled with very nice choices. The service is excellent. The quality and taste of the food is unequaled in the area. The prices are quite modest. I wholly recommend this restaurant for eating at or take out.

Decent for take out. Eating in the restaurant was disappointkng. A large TV was playing a basketball game, there was yelling and fighting coming from the back, and the front door was propped open right behind my seat which made everything really cold. There was one person serving who was rarely available.

We sat there for 45 minutes and only got tea and water. She had not asked us for our order or anything. And when she walked by after taking the order of a table that was sat after us, she rushed to the back like she didn't want to deal with us. We left.

We waited 45 minutes and did not get any service. Had to get our own menus. Floor was sticky. We had to leave because we needed food. Only 2 other tables were being used. People coming in after us got service.

I used to love coming to this restaurant all the time they used to have the best chowfun I don’t know if they changed the recipe but the last few times I went with my husband and ordered the chow fun it soooooo much oil in it me and my husband literally filled up a whole cup of oil and when we ate it we both got tummy aches and had bad diarrhea. Please golden phoenix go change the recipe for chowing to how it used to be

Showed up at the Golden Phoenix at 11:30 am when they are suppose to open, they were closed. Sat there till 11:40, no show. Thought they went out of business, Left and went to another Chinese's restaurant. I got a call from Golden Phoenix at 11:52 that they are open. The women that called, did not care that they did open on time. I told her she missed out on an $80.00 to go meal, she didn't care. Should have offered a discount for next time. This was the second time in a row they opened late, the first was only 5 minutes late, I can live with that.

I went there yesterday. Asked for a to go menu. They gave me a menu. I ordered off the menu, got the bill, the total bill was almost ten dollars more. I asked why? They said the menu they gave me was old and I had to scan the bar code on the window shield. They said the bar code had the current prices. Why didn't they tell me that the first time. And why are they keeping the old menus on display. Quite disappointed

It tasted really bad and was really greasy, spent almost $100 for it to not taste good. Do not recommend.

While travelling for work I stumbled upon this gem. Great food and lots of variety. Highly recommend!!

Our favorite local Chinese restaurant! It’s just around the corner, and we’re lucky to have such consistently delicious food. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

We’ve been searching for a great Chinese restaurant, and we’re so glad we found Golden Phoenix! The almond chicken, sweet & sour pork, and beef & broccoli were all excellent. The fried rice that came with the meal was packed with flavor, and both the wonton soup and egg drop soup were delicious. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

I’ve been coming here since high school, and now it’s one of my daughter’s favorite restaurants. The staff knows us well, the prices are reasonable, and the food is always great. I’ve introduced many friends to this place over the years, and they always look forward to coming back.
