PASS :/ Unwelcoming upon arrival despite being slow. Small portions for price. Food, meh. Flat sodas and tasteless ice tea probably because the store bought soda bottles were lined up on counter. Staff and server were not friendly or pleasant; came across distant and dismissive except when time to pay looking for a tip. I had high hopes but very disappointed. Do better.
We reserved the bar area for our mother memorial. They were very accommodating.
Well....this is a fantastic breakfast place π
Unfortunately we ordered lunch π
Don't get me wrong it's a fabulous place to go for breakfast π₯π³
Just maybe not lunch
This place has amazing breakfast, it reminds me of one of those old-school diners.
Let me start off by saying I used to love this place. My most recent experience was not great. Food was cold, waited alooooooooooooooooong time to get my food so decided to just eat and not say anything (waited over an hour) People who showed up after us got food before us. Wish I could say I still loved this place. I guess we will find a new breakfast spot.
Although Nikkiβs has a great variety of foods, and there were alot of people here, we were not impressed. I asked for a kidβs menu for my 6 year old and she wasnt given one. My oldest daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and everything was overcooked and burnt. My youngest daughter ordered nachos which were also overcooked, burnt and extremely crispy with no flavor. She also ordered a strawberry lemonade but they gave her orange juice. It was no big deal and she drank what she was given. I ordered the French toast combo which tasted fine but was cold. There were other people who arrived after us and were served their food before us. We did not have a very good experience so we will not be returning.
Stopped by for a late lunch. They have a very impressive menu and the food was delicious.
Good place to eat good food friendly Staff and owner I believe that the owner always walk around and say hi And ask how are you doing today
Quantity over quality has been my experience. My partner and I really wanted to like this diner-style restaurant but every time we came in, we left mildly disappointed. It was never awful or anything, it just always missed the mark. The people were nice but after several visits, we've given up.
Great service, food is good, not great.

We are visiting Covington for the week and decided we wanted to try some local food.
Overall, this place was average. It felt like we were stepping into 2005 β it had massive Shari's vibes. Nothing wrong with that (we honestly kind of enjoyed it, as it gave us some nice nostalgia.)
The service was great! We were greeted immediately by our host, seated and then soon followed our waitress. She was a very kind woman (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) and was quick with our orders & attentive on refills, making sure we were enjoying ourselves, etc.
The food... It wasn't all that bad! Definitely average. Nothing spectacular, and a little on the greasy side, but that's okay. We thought that it was a little too pricey for the quality of food that we got, if we are being honest.
To put it plain: great service, average food and atmosphere, and too expensive for the experience.
Best chicken fried steak in the greater Seattle area! Their denver omelet was also very flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend π
Too pricey for what it is⦠just regular breakfast food. And the atmosphere is moody and dark.
