that’s very bad service for this location. I’m waiting for my order 50 minutes.
and I tried to request please make my order and nobody care
Food is pretty standard for sushi rolls -a little pricy but overall quality, freshness, and taste are good. My biggest complaint is the wait time between ordering and being served. I've had it take over an hour but a good rule of thumb is 30-45 minutes so don't come if you're in a rush.

Took my daughter her to eat on her birthday and the staff was so friendly. Our waitress with the big eyelashes was so sweet and personable, I’m sorry I don’t catch her name. She made us feel so welcomed

When you order online and leave a 20% tips they look at you like you are garbage when you don’t leave another tip on top of you're already given tip. Are we expected to give 50% tip?
Its also not like tip is needed when I do the service myself already, disgusting behavior.

I stopped in the Covington location to get takeout around 7:30pm on a Monday night. I am a longtime Trappers customer but have not eaten at this location for a long time. I have always gotten the smurf roll and the cryssi roll. I ordered both this time. I waited at least 30 minutes and the place was not busy. Just a few tables occupied and a few people at the counter. I could tell the servers were getting annoyed that the food was taking so long. I should have looked at my order before i left. I was extremely disappointed when I got home. I should have taken a photo but I was tired and hungry. The smurf roll was about half the diameter than usual with only avocado on top instead down the sides The mushrooms in the middle were very tiny and the roll was dry. the roll was barely squirted with some chili sauce. No garlic sauce or teriyaki sauce. It had zero flavor. The cryssi roll was larger in diameter mostly because there was a large piece of raw zucchini in the middle. There were only tiny little pieces of mushroom and most of the pieces were stems. I had to pull one out to investigate what it was. Again, just chili sauce barely drizzled on it and no garlic or teriyaki sauce. i was so disappointed . These 2 rolls and a side of edamame was $32. I will never go to this location again.

We love Trapper's a bit pricey but well worth it. Only complaint I have is we ordered the teryiaki chicken tonight with some Sushi rolls. The teryiaki chicken was very bland had not taste to it. 🤔😒
Place used to be good. Now too much rice and poor quality fish. Service was good but they have way more employees in there than they needed.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t bring a kid here

My boyfriend and I have both ordered for DoorDash pick up from this location multiple times. Every time we do, we arrive a little after the estimated time it's ready. We are both aware estimates aren't always accurate. HOWEVER, it should not be so inaccurate that we are sitting there for upwards of 15-20 minutes. That is the literal point of ordering for pick up/ordering ahead. I'm convinced they don't start working on your order until you are there. This most recent time they made the incorrect roll so my poor boyfriend had to sit there for another 15 minutes. Not once did they offer/do anything for the wait or the fact they literally made it incorrectly. Do not waste your time and money here as it's clearly poorly managed.

Here we go again with Trapper’s annual menu change and rip off. Every year they change something to the menu, usually price increase and/or removing your favorite item from the menu. The last few years have been pretty bad with AYCE pricing increased while limited your options (removing soft-shelf crab for example). This year they did it again but got worse. If you haven’t noticed, 3 rolls for $33 deal during happy hour is now 2 rolls (roll options became even more limited) + an appetizer (choose from 4-5 options, most of them suck) for $33. Food came out heavily battered, lukewarm, and skimmed on fish. Oh and a friendly reminder your non-alcoholic drinks such as soda, tea, strawberry lemonade, etc. are not free refill, though the server sure makes it sound like it. We paid about $110 for dinner for 2 during happy hour for a disappointment. We have been a Trapper’s customers for at least a decade, we usually go once a week, sometimes twice a week; however, the experience every time has been consistently bad. Paying too much for something that is no longer holding the same standard as it used to be. Every year Trapper’s rip its customers off a little bit more. I think we’re finally done with Trapper’s.

Unfortunately one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Simple order but the California roll was the crab stick has one with additional toppings and it maybe had 6 peaces mixed between the two boxes. Just disappointing overall won’t be returning.
