Surprisingly good. Bought fish and chips basket, perfectly cooked, moist, hot, flavorful. Potatoes and fish seemed fresh enough to have been cut and breaded onsite, rather than simply cooked straight out of a freezer.We ate outside, in our truck, because we were in a hurry to arrive at our destination a few miles on. Next visit we will eat inside, as the building looks invitingly homey and clean.Kid-friendliness: Multiple families with kids were in and out while we ate. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Kids were well-behaved and respectful.

The food here was pretty good. The main issue was none of us got our correct meals due to the waitress misidentifying them while handing them to us. It took about 15mins for us to get our drink orders which were all sodas. The waitress was very sweet but didn't seem like she knew what she was doing.

Came through town to pickup a jeep in Danville and got hungry. I had one of those greasy high priced Cheese Burgers and Skimpy Fries, reminds me of the Strip Bars in Portland, Or. This is my kind of place !.

Driving to Idaho and went from Omak through Curlew. Scenic drive. Kettle River is pretty. Came down the road and getting hungry. Perfect drivein at the corner in Curlew. Just had to try it. Got the cheeseburger and fries. Great tasting food. Ladies were pleasant and efficient. Great little spot for drivein lunch or breakfast or dinner. Will stop by again. Recommend. Thank you.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. I’ve paid nearly twice as much for “gourmet” burgers that were much drier and not as fresh. Friendly, small-town vibes in a beautiful setting. Nice sun roof, cool in the early summer. Had their burger combo and rib sandwich. Sandwich was very good but burger was excellent! Yes, fries are a little greasy but come on, they’re fries! Violet-green swallows and cool columnar basalt rocks in the parking lot. It’s the only option in the area, but it’s a good one!

Curlew is a quaint town and this is a perfect middle of nowhere pick me up!! They have a full coffee stand menu plus a host of American food! We visited one day for coffees (they made a delicious iced white chocolate mocha!)Today we came back for food. Their cougar burger was amazing!!! I loved the burger sauce they had on it. My curly fries were also well done. Service on the day we got coffee was not very welcoming. The barista was a little abrasive and got our order wrong even after clarifying it multiple times. Overall, great stop for burgers and drinks in town if you have a few extra minutes to spare!
