It was so refreshing to find a place serving wonderful down home cooking! Everything was very flavorful and fresh. The biscuits in our biscuits and gravy came right out of the oven. After my first trip to the Lonesome Bear Cafe, I've made it my place to go! Since then, I've tried their panini, chicken pot pie, breakfast in a bowl, all excellent. I now meet friends there regularly for latte and a pastry. Their triple chocolate brownie sundae is amazing!
If passing through or visiting in the area you should make this one of your stops. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our waitress went out of her way to accommodate. The menu is a bit limited but sufficient.
