Carolyn is adorable, she came over and chatted with us while we where eating and told all kinds of stories. She is located right on Hwy 12 so it was a quick easy stop on our way through town. She is a good cook but I was expecting larger servings for the price.
While on the road visiting SE Washington state, we stopped at Carolyn's Cafe for a quick treat and selected one of her maple bars and two peanut butter cookies. Carolyn is such a delightful person - you can't help but wish her a happy and healthy life, surrounded by family and good friends. We left the shop and drove around Dayton admiring the architecture while we ate the peanut butter cookies. OMG! Quiet and relaxed atmosphere with excellent food and service. The portions are large and well prepared. The biscuits and gravy are outstanding. A full order is two large Biscuits covered with sausage gravy. Highly recommended.
