This is sorta like sitting in a good friend's parlor. Lots of comfy furniture, tables for your klatch, and the best aeropress coffee you've ever had. A sampling of baked goods, large assortment of interesting teas, the usual espresso beverages, and table service once you've ordered. It's a most pleasant place on Dayton's main drag.

I must confess that I have not visited Rey's in Dayton yet, but I have purchased her whole bean coffee mail order, for the third time today. I have grown weary of the very dark and sometimes bitter roasted beans from major chains. My daughter did visit Rey's and turned me onto them last year. I have tried 6 different roasts now, all either medium or medium dark roast and am loving the broad flavor profile vs. what I've been used to. So I have been enjoying her beans in my french press at home for 4 months, just ordered 4 more pounds, and will continue to look forward to visiting Rey in Dayton soon.

This is a fantastic coffee house with excellent coffee, lattes, everything made to order for your specifications. The owner is a wonderful woman, Regina, who is always willing to chat if she is not too busy. Sometimes her place is packed with customers and other times it is very peaceful and quiet. The surroundings are very comfortable from chairs at a table or a sofa or an occasional chair. Take your pick. She offers many different types of coffee that she roasts herself and none of her coffee is ever bitter. I am a person who does not like bitter coffee but I do like Regina's coffees and especially her lattes. So you must come and check it out.
