Super friendly staff! My beef rib was perfect.

Alright y'all. I'm from Texas. Amarillo specifically. So's my wife. When we saw this "Amarillo BBQ" spot 30min from our house, we clicked our spurs together, saddled up, and rode out!

Let me tell you, some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had (and I run my own pit). Same for my wife. Brisket is REALLY hard to do right, this was exceptional and made my jaw hit the floor. Sausage was great, turkey always the "sleeper" meat at a good BBQ place, and pulled pork was awesome. Fried okra the best we've ever had, cornbread was yellow cakey goodness from the gods, and their house BBQ sauces had me running around the place looking for bottles to buy. And they had Shiner on tap! Made my Texas heart sing ?

Do yourself a favor, run (don't walk) here, and get it Texas style so you can enjoy this exceptional spot the way the Lord intended (with pickles, onions, and crappy white bread for soaking up sauce and drippings)!

Oh, and save room for the banana pudding.

As someone from Amarillo, TX, I can confidently say Amarillo Barbecue in Duvall delivers the real deal! The smoky, tender brisket and perfectly seasoned ribs took me right back home, capturing all the authentic Texas barbecue flavors I grew up with. The sides are just as fantastic, from the creamy mac and cheese to the classic potato salad, each bite was pure comfort food bliss. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, just like a true Texas BBQ joint should be. If you're craving a taste of authentic Texas barbecue in the Pacific Northwest, Amarillo Barbecue is the place to go!

1st time I was there, I got an assortment of things and in general all pretty good and was excited to go back. This time I got a brisket sandwich. Just wanted that but they asked what side I wanted so said cornbread, assuming it comes with the sandwich but not sure. $20 not including tip seemed a little steep but then I reminded myself that there isn't much besides fast food for under $20 so that was fine.
Went to eat the sandwich and the meat was ok but NOTHING else on it, just a very weak bun and the meat. It really needs some slaw and some sauce or something, maybe some pickles too as it was really dry and way too plain. HUGE portion of cornbread but had to put it in the oven at home because it was both cold and really under-baked. I'll definitely be trying this place again though with hopes for a rebound. Also wanted to add... would have much preferred slabs of brisket instead of the dry, pulled brisket

Ordered on line at 5pm on Friday night. First pick up time was 6.25pm.

Fatty brisket was phenomenal. Pork belly burnt ends were very good.

Pork ribs were a little dry, otherwise OK, needed bbq sauce to get any kind of flavor. Chicken wings were burnt black and dry, hard to understand how they put this in our bag. Nothing like the picture on the web site.

The mac and cheese was interesting at first but lost its mojo after a couple of bites.

Server behind the register had a helpful personality, liked that.

Amazing brisket!!! Also absolutely the best burger around!!! We have been eating at Amarillo since it was in Monroe and are so happy it is in Duvall now. They never disappoint!

This place is great. I have high expectations for bbq and I was very pleased with the taste and value. The portions are nice and big. The smoked wings are the legit and huge.

Great food and great vibes. Their brisket, tots and corn bread are off the charts!

I know this place can be better than what we experienced today.

Ironically, as we were ordering, a cook pulled a gorgeous whole brisket out of the oven, dripping its own juices.

We ordered brisket sandwiches, and no doubt we were served yesterday's meat. It was dry and very lacking in flavor. The French roll dominated the meat, was dry, and was too large to take a bite out of. It was a Philly, and there were almost no onions and no mayo. A failure. The beans were good. Staff were very courteous.

Don't serve your customers yesterday's substandard BBQ when a sandwich is $20!

Briskets taste very good. Baby back ribs are just ok, not our favorite.

Been to Amarillo several times since they've opened and the food is always great! Just this past week I had the Taco Tuesday special and the tacos were amazing. I ordered the pulled pork tacos and honestly, they were the best tacos I've ever had. The flavor and heat were so good. I want those tacos to become part of their regular menu so I can have them anytime I stop by!

I don't usually leave reviews but I've actually been to Amarillo, TX and I've had bbq there. This honestly tastes like being back in Texas. The baby back ribs were amazing. But the sauces were some of my favorite! When are y'all gonna sell them online for those of us that don't live nearby?

Unbelievable good food! I’m so glad we stopped there to eat and already planing the next time.

We ordered the brisket, side of okra, potato salad e coleslaw.

The outside seating is fenced so my toddler safely explored around until our food arrived.

This place makes me want to be a vegan!

Hmmm.... I wonder what will be in this location next. This place clearly isn't going to make it. Friday night and 3 people in the place while the other establishments with patios in town are packed. They left Monore after everyone had their fill of overpriced terrible meat... I'm not going to call it BBQ as I've never seen smoke from the building or smelt anything close to smoked meat aroma. The meat clearly has zero smoke flavor and has been boiled and shocked to cook it. Pretty sure there's not an actual smoker in the place but rather stainless microwave gizmos... the owners seem like jerks the way they respond to reviews. So here's a review fitting of your response.

Side note, don't expect any table service even if you tip at the register. There's zero service here.
