Three stars for running a restaurant, it’s a very tough job. My comments are just my own opinion and not a judgement on the restaurant. I have eaten some barbecue that has disqualified (in my opinion) most places I’ve been to get it. My Golden Rule of barbecue is when any condiments you put on good barbecue ruins it, you have good barbecue. When it’s done very well, you won’t want to mask its flavor with any barbecue sauce. Amarillo BBQ is as good as most others in the area but I have wondered at times if the only barbecue I detect is from the smoke of a fire somewhere in the back. Smoked brisket at what works out to $40/lb better be worth it. I’ll keep looking.

Second time here. Will be coming again. Got the pulled pork both times with 3 sides. Only complaint is that the cornbread was a tad stale but I won't drop my 5 stars because their meat and BBQ sauce is that good.

My barbecue brisket and beans lunch was perfect! This is my go-to place for barbecue food in the PNW 👍

Food was ok. The sweet bbq sauce tasted like it’s starting to ferment. The spicy bbq tasted like chili powder not very spicy. The brisket was decent. The gal taking my order seemed like I had inconvenienced her.

We are from the south and have had bbq all over the US. This is not all that. The brisket needed salt and was so overcooked it was mealy. The sauces were weird. Don’t know how to explain it. The okra was way over battered. And for what you get it is extremely pricey. There is no meat combo so everything is ala carte and by the pound. Have to say the pig poppers were the best thing we had but the ranch didn’t taste homemade. Can’t say I recommend this place.
Absolutely the best BBQ I've had, and I've been to many BBQ places in Texas. I've been trying to find a proper authentic BBQ place for a long time while living in Washington, and this is it! Not only is it authentic, it's the best BBQ I've had.
The brisket is incredible, melts in your mouth and falls apart, it's very tender.
The pork belly, mac and cheese, and chicken wings are also just perfection.
We've been here twice and each time the BBQ has been consistently perfectly cooked and delicious.
The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.

Decided to try this place for the first time after driving by many times. Wasn't very busy and did take a while to get our food. But it was very good and the staff were nice. The baked beans were awesome.

Pictured is the Brisket Philly Dip and half of the cornbread and some tater tots I was sharing. This sandwich may be my new favorite. They definitely do an amazing job with their meat as the fat melts in your mouth and was filled with great flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I wanted to keep eating more! The cornbread is yummy but tasted more sweet and cake like than I'd like. They also are dog friendly so we could have our dog with us at the tables outside.

Drove here one Saturday to try out this place, which I've seen in some local publications about having some of the best BBQ in the Seattle area. Wasn't too busy when I arrived and ordered a pound of lean brisket, half pound of turkey, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and 2 house made sausages. My sides were smokey baked beans and spicy campfire beans. Only regret was not ordering any of the ribs! The brisket was delicious..smokey flavor, very tender. Some of the pulled pork and pulled chicken was slightly dry but overall good especially with the sweet sauce that's provided with the meal. I personally thought that the house made sausages are some of the best I've ever had. I have never had the flavor profile of both brisket and pork in a sausage and the taste of it was fantastic! The turkey also was well cooked and very moist. We found both of the bean side dishes lacking in flavor but the campfire beans had a lil spice to them. Not a bad spot for BBQ if you happen to be in the Duvall area.

We booked Amarillo as catering for our backyard wedding and it was the best! Not only is Amarillo veteran owned, but the food was delicious (especially the mac & cheese and pulled pork!), and Brian and his team were so great to work with. Everything was super reasonably priced, Brian was very communicative and helpful, and they were very prompt. Him and his staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and they even packed up all the leftovers for us. We will absolutely be going to visit the restaurant and keeping them in mind for any future catering needs.

Dry. Didn't hold up to anything I've had in Texas.
This is a country atmosphere which I love and miss. The food is great and service is good. The portions are big! I will be back
