The plantain appetizer was amazing! We’d never had anything like it before. My husband enjoyed his jambalaya and my two teens and I had beef and salmon burgers. The truffle Parmesan fries were awesome! We also tried three desserts: peach cobbler, lava cake and key lime pie, which were all great. Service was good and the restaurant is nicely decorated for the holidays. The people at the table next to us were raving about their scallops and risotto. We’ll have to try those next time! 😊

The food here was incredible! My mom and I stumbled upon this place for brunch while walking around In Duvall, and man what a hidden treasure this place was. My mom has been to New Orleans, and she said this was some of the best Creole food she’s had. We stuck with the classics- gumbo, shrimp and grits, and a po boy. Our server was so nice, good drinks, beautiful view from the windows, and great music playing in the background. You can tell the chef is passionate about what he does. We’re both looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu next time we’re in the area.

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant. The listed open time was 5pm. We arrived at 615. There were two table with people and no one else waiting to be sat. The hostess didn't greet us but instead bluntly asked if we had a reservation. We said no and she said okay we aren't seating without a reservation until 630. She was not friendly or welcoming. Instead she seemed annoyed that we were there at all. We told her we would wait. At 625, no one else had come to the restaurant and it was still just the two tables with people. At this point we decided to leave because clearly they didn't want our business. I can understand waiting if the restaurant was busy or there was a line to come in. In the ten minutes we were waiting, no one came. We felt unwelcome and like an inconvenience so we went to The Grange up the street instead. Also there was no signage saying they only sat reservations until 630. We were disappointed.

This was a date night experience that not only met what we were looking for .... it dramatically exceeded our expectations. Reservations was very easy to set up and was meet by a friendly staff. The flavors of the dinner was excellent and the presentation of the meal was superb. When our waitress asked if we needed anything else all i could ask for was another reservation.

What a hidden gem! I had no idea they existed, so I was surprised to learn that they've been open for over three years. As soon as I scoped their menu online, I couldn't wait to get in. Booked in for my birthday dinner a few nights ago and left very satisfied!
They are tucked away in a very unassuming building in Duvall. I think this place could use some more advertising and marketing!
The hostess/waitress was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting (apart from some bugs on the windowsill we were seated next to.)
We had a piña colada, fig and prosciutto flatbread, lobster bisque, fried chicken sandwich, and the salmon sandwich. Everything was delicious; the flatbread and fried chicken sandwich being the standouts. The chicken was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and the flavor combinations throughout the meal were beautiful.
The only real negative of our experience were the wait times between each course which were excessive.

I also need to add that while this food is quality and well worth having on occasion- the pricing is... borderline insulting. You jump from appetizers and sandwiches that are between $15 and $20 (high, but not outrageous)... To entrees on the next page that are well over $40 a plate. Even as high as $70 for a steak. This is exorbitant and even more than Toulouse Petite in Seattle! I don't know how you calculate shrimp and grits at $45 but, at that price, I'll never find out.

I went with 3 others. We all had some kind of linch item. There was not much for the vegan/vegetarian.

Well worth the drive out to Duvall. This is one of the best restaurants we’ve tried in a long time. The beet salad is the best I’ve ever had. The chicken and gnocchi were excellent. Make sure to order a dessert as well.

We drove 40 minutes to get here ...Food was ok, service was good, place looks nice for a date...I had the 18 dollar Lamb burger. The flavor was there but texture was just off almost like it was a frozen premade patty came with freezer french fries. My wife had the grits and shrimp. That was ok but 40 bucks is excessive for that plate. We shared a pecan pie slice, that was probably the best part. Over all it was a below average experience with an above average price tag. We want to come back and give it a second chance

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was something special. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — modern but still cozy, with just the right background music and lighting to make you feel relaxed. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel right at home, which is something you don’t always get these days.

Now, the food — wow. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor (no pun intended). You can really tell the chefs here care about quality and presentation. I had the [insert dish name, e.g. “grilled salmon with lemon butter sauce”], and it was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. My partner had the [e.g. “creamy mushroom risotto”], and we both agreed it was one of the best we’ve ever had.

The portion sizes were generous without being over the top, and everything came out piping hot. Even the small details — the garnish, the plating, the balance of flavors — were clearly thought out. The service throughout our meal was attentive but never intrusive. Our server checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed but gave us space to enjoy our evening.

To top it off, the desserts were divine. The [e.g. “chocolate lava cake”] was rich and decadent, and the [e.g. “homemade cheesecake”] had that perfect creamy texture with a hint of citrus. We paired it all with a glass of wine recommended by our server, and it was spot on.

Flavour Bistro is one of those rare places that gets everything right — ambiance, service, and most importantly, incredible food. You can tell there’s real passion behind what they do. It’s easily one of my new favorite spots, and I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

Clive, the owner of Flavor Bistro, is hands down one of the best Duvall community members. He’s not only passionate about food, but he’s also constantly supporting other local businesses and showing up for this town. My wife Eve and I even had him cater my 50th birthday party, and the food was incredible—that’s how much I trust what he creates.

Their dinner menu is fabulous but let’s talk about Taco Tuesday. Four tacos and a drink for $20 is such a solid deal, and the food is fantastic. The vibe is easy-going whether you’re sitting right at the bar or grabbing one of the bar tables. There’s a TV usually with sports on, and it just makes for a really fun and relaxed evening. Quick, tasty, and affordable—and my favorite tacos in town!

A tip: Flavor Bistro is right on Main Street, but you do have to walk down a long hallway to get there. Don’t let that fool you—it’s worth it, and honestly, part of the charm. They also do a great brunch and have a super easy-to-use website.

Clive is a great guy with amazing food, and you should definitely go out of your way to support him and his restaurant.

We were out looking at houses and decided to stop here for dinner afterward. There was not a single thing on the menu that didn’t sound absolutely delicious. Our dinners were amazing, the recommended wine was great, and the service was so great! If you are anywhere near Duvall, definitely try Flavour!
