This is my go to place in my town. Mostly because the staff are so awesome! They know me now and have for a long time. They have seen my kids grow up right in front of them and they treat them like a part of the Ixtapa family as well. The food is great depending on what you get but the staff are even better and that’s what keeps me coming back again and again! Love you guys!

As soon as you walk in your greeted with a smile and hello. We have always been seated as soon as we walk in. The wait staff are prompt and helpful with selecting your order. The kitchen staff get your order out to you very quickly and hot. The margaritas are amazing!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Wow, we ordered the special and it was not only ready early (thank you) but nicely packaged and warm! Thank you.
Food is fine. Margarita was strong. However the waiter wasn’t friendly. Ordered the chicken chimichanga, received a beef chimichanga. I’m not a picky customer. But this was probably the first time in my life I didn’t leave a tip. It is a service job, some basic friendliness isn’t much to ask.

Ixtapa is a Duvall staple. We went there as young college students with friends every Sunday and still go once a month or so with our family. I recently have been getting chips and salsa or soup to go and it’s be a nice way to round out a meal at home or have lunch on the go. Our favorites are the Ixtapa Burrito, chicken soup, and fajitas.

Stop eating here a while back since quality has gone down hill the past couple years. Needed chips and salsa figured they can't mess it up but I was wrong the chips tasted terrible they were made with old oil had to throw the whole bag away
