The mango sticky rice is a last supper dish. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I need mangos to be in season year round that’s how good it is. Friendly staff and great food.

Wife and I recently moved into the area, and am glad there is an authentic delicious Thai restaurant in town. Very busy and popular spot.

Love that it is Thai family owned, and very friendly!

Ordered pork pad Thai and crab fried rice. both very delicious.

the atmosphere is warm and inviting with old creaky hardwood floors, and antique wood family tables and chairs.

When the food here is good, it’s amazing. But the quality is inconsistent so I always order two things, just in case one of them is disappointing, and if it is I can usually jazz it up at home. They are great about food allergies, especially gluten-free.

Last Thursday 7/25/24 around 5pm we saw the review of this place online and tried to give it a try. We ordered a gyoza and thai fried rice with beef to go by phone. According to their menu online, the gyoza is $9.95 and the Thai fried rice with beef is $17.95. On the phone, I asked if they can give us a cup of water. The waitstaff didn’t tell me the total price, took my name and hang up.

When I arrived, the staff was about to give us a bottle of water instead of a cup of water. Seeing the bottle, I cancelled the water and just go with the foods. The male waitstaff put the water bottle back and give us a new receipt. It was a hand written one. I am assuming that he didn’t charge us for a water bottle and because he’s writing a new one, he should’ve leave out the water.

Funny that the bill came out extra. Gyoza and the Thai fried rice is $9.95 + $17.95 + tax should be $30.69. But our bill came out for $33.71. And it also leaves a space for a tip so I make it $34 even. There is no itemized receipts only handwritten notes that I can’t even read.

I was thinking that why it came out more expensive than its supposed to be? There’s $3 extra out of nowhere. I asked him for a receipt but he only gave me the copy of the total receipt that has $3 extra. I was about to ask for itemized receipt but I’m not sure if he actually will understand the difference. He doesn’t speak English very well and explaining to him what is itemized receipt means would waste my time.

I don’t know if it’s the website pricing that needs to be updated or the waitstaff calculated the bill wrong. I don’t think your sit down costumer would understand the bill when it’s written with handwriting with limited words that looks like kitchen orders. No itemized receipt makes the miscalculation sounds fishy and I could’ve think that your staff is dishonest and adding an extra $3 for his or the store own benefits.

If I’m not in a hurry, I would come back and ask for the explanation. If you care about your store’s integrity and wanted to avoid misunderstanding, you should either update your website pricing or retrain your staff about this.

The taste of the food is pretty good. I would come back for the food but wouldn’t come back if I feel cheated or lied to about the pricing.

I wish I could give them a MILLION STARS!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The food is so tasty! The staff is personable and they remember you, your family, your favorite orders and everything else! My favorite recommendation is the beef Pad See EW, sub eggplant for the broccoli, 2 stars! I’ve done their 4 stars before and it burned my face off … which I loved hahah! RUN, DON’T WALK TO GET THE BEST THAI AROUND!

Dietary restrictions: I’m fully gluten free and dairy free and they can completely accommodate this in almost ALL their dishes!

Authentic Thai Cuisine with warm welcome

hi b

Even the greatest eventually fall. Duvall Thai has been the go to spot for us since the early 90s. The last two times I have gotten the mu pad prik king have been utter disappointments, I’m not sure what’s going on, but something has changed, it’s not even in the same realm.
