This was a random find after we did a hike at Cherry Creek Falls. It’s not too far from the hiking trailhead, and I’m very impressed with the food there. They do taco Tuesday there. I really enjoyed the ginger peach cider. The pineapple sour was a bit different and not something I would order again. For food, we got a charcuterie board that had a lot of good variety. I really enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and my friend enjoyed a watermelon salad served in a half portion of a small watermelon which was really unique. I’d definitely come back here when I’m in the area again. Our server was super nice and funny.

I think a good establishment is defined by how the handle difficult services. Valley was easily cruising at a four, good beer, really really good food, taco Tuesday is amazing. Then the most amazing patio, it’s blocked from the wind but not the sun, lots of greenery, awesome spot.
Now the reason they are a five. We went a while back and they were short staffed, super busy, as a life time service industry worker I know how it gets. Stuff is just not in your control. The way they handled it made me a lifetime fan. All we have ever experienced at Valley is premium customer service, honesty, and great attitudes. Whoever setup this shop, and whoever did the hiring, props to you, what a fantastic team.

Interesting beers. Somewhat limited tap list tonight, presumably because it's the slow season. But it was also very cozy and comfortable. Great service and the food is always wonderful.

We have been coming here for several years. Have always had great service, cheerful staff, good food. But after this evening we are sad we won't be back. The door was open when we walked in. It is 39° outside. Shortly after sitting down another table asked if the door could be closed and the waitress responded no. We had unfortunately already ordered beers at this point. When they arrived at our table we were freezing and inquired about the door. The waitress responded no it could not be closed, the owner wants it to remain open because "it's more welcoming" and that she would "get in trouble" if she closed it. By this point we had decided to forego ordering dinner and just try to drink our beers quickly. It was so cold that we ultimately just left our barely touched beers behind and closed out. We were dressed to sit inside, not outside. Despite leaving our coats and hats on it was simply too cold. Very disappointed as we are locals and loved this spot. Dress for the outdoors if you venture in!

Love this bar and always have a great time here but the older bar tender with glasses has been in a negative mood and has made rude remarks towards me and my groups on multiple different occasions. Love this place and love the younger guy thanks here but the old guy has to find a way to show up to work in a better mood.

Valley House is absolutely one of my all-time favorite restaurants! Their food is scrumptious made extra delicious using local farmers and growers. Staff is exceptionally welcoming and kind❣️And I love how it is a gathering place without TVs for distraction. Just enjoyed the squash soup with a grilled cheese sandwich… the absolute best ever! This is a hidden gem, not just the beer is good but the chef is their ace! every single dish we have tried blows our mind, try the appetizers too, you can tell they are made from scratch, definitely a place we go all the time

I’ve always loved the food and drinks here but a blond waitress told me not to come back after i asked her to please not pet my dog in training. She ignored my request and I had to ask her for a second time, at which point she did stop petting him and told me that the point of bringing dogs was so the servers could pet them. I said that the point of me bringing my dog was so I could train and socialize him within specific parameters. Her response was that he wasn’t welcome here anymore and to not bring him again. I sent an email privately about it and didn’t receive a response. I’m not sure if they support the statement their waitress made about dogs being there for the servers benefit or if the owner/manager doesn’t care about customer service. Either way the whole thing sucked. Big thumbs down.
