Probably the most authentic Mexican food I've had in the NW. Great vibe with grocery store attached. Quesabirria was outstanding!

Small quiet clean. Great food and great prices. Seems like this place is a hidden gem because it should have been packed on a Friday night for the value they serve. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot, you'll be glad that you did

3/4/2025: Small spot inside a Latino Market. Friendly service. Chips and salsa were offered complimentary however the chips weren't that good. Some crispy some stale. Salsa was good though.

Sopa Birria (Birria Ramen) was so delicious. Noodles were overcooked but otherwise the broth was spicy and flavorful, lots of meat. Onions, cilantro, limes on the side.

Camarones apretalados was a good size. Flavor was lacking but it was filling, shrimp not overcooked.

Nice spot, look forward to trying other items on the menu

Best authentic Mexican food in East Wenatchee. It’s in the back of a grocery store in the same parking lot as Bi-Mart.

Real Mexican food. Unlike many many places that are bland and cookie cutter, this place is for the real folks. Must try. Burrito is amazing. Hard to find but worth it if you do

Quaint little restaurant space inside a grocery store, and after reading reviews, er had high expectations.
The chips were cold but thick, and their salsa and cabbage was delicious.
The entrees were bland and uninspired, and overpriced, and they were out of multiple items.
In a city with many good Mexican restaurants, this one fell far short of the local standards.

You have to go inside the market to the back left to get to the store. We had to ask. You're not lost.
Huge portions and the food was fantastic. A little more authentic than my preferred Tex-Mex.
The tables are gorgeous and the staff was friendly and prompt. If you have beyond the basics and don't speak Spanish the staff seems to be used to using Google translate.
Lots of good Mexican style food in the Valley and this food not disappoint.

The food was good, except that the tortillas are not freshly made, they were already half cold

El Fogón is the spot in East Wenatchee, no doubt about it! If you're craving authentic Mexican food, this is the place to be. The birria tacos are out of this world. The meat is super tender, full of flavor, and when you dip it in the consommé… it’s a flavor explosion! Every bite takes you straight to your happy place.

Everything on the menu is delicious, with those homey flavors that make you feel like family. The salsas are on point, and the vibe is so welcoming—like you’re at home. The service is always friendly, and they make you feel right at ease. Whether you live here or you're just visiting, you have to check out El Fogón. You won’t regret it! Definitely my favorite place for Mexican food in East Wenatchee! Highly recommended!

Racist....I've encountered the woman twice. The first time I bought some cabbage salsa. When she did look at me, she scowled. She didn't smile and barely acknowledged I was there. I just figured she was having a bad day. We all do.

My husband and I went there for lunch today. She was there and another waiter. The man was very nice. Got us sat very quickly. The same woman bypassed us twice. She sat 2 tables after us and she took their orders before us. I know she knew we were there because she gave us our menus and water. She looked at me once. The other waiter took another table before us also. We were the only ones in there who were not Hispanic.

Shame on them. We won't be going there again.

This was hands down the best place I’ve ever been! The food was absolutely incredible, both in flavor and presentation. The portions were the largest I’ve ever seen, and every bite was packed with deliciousness. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the atmosphere was fantastic—warm, inviting, and perfect. I can't wait to go back!
