Jeremy… was AMAZING!!! Communication from the start and our in-person meetings made me feel so comfortable during the wedding planning process. Jeremy not only answered all my questions he also explained the wedding scene more in depth to me (as this is my first big event I’ve ever planned). Jeremy instilled all the confidence necessary in me and my wedding plan. Him and his team made the best day of my life PERFECT. People will always tell you something will go wrong day of, well that definitely did not happen at Highlander Bar & Grill. Far from that. A banger of a party is what happened that day and everything went superb. As for the venue… it was beautiful. All my guests got to drive down with the view of one of my most favorite looking buildings in Wenatchee which reminds me of Scottish architecture and I was married overlooking the Columbia river with mountains in the background which made for the best photos. Food is top notch as always, I’ve been to Highlander Bar & Grill for dinners many times prior and I knew that Jesus (the chef) was going to show out. Which he did! The staff is very friendly and very helpful and they were truly the ones that made sure my day was perfect. One thing that I loved is that the staff made sure the line at the bar did not pile up at all and that made all my guests very happy. I’m telling you if you want to have the best event, Highlander is the place that will fulfill all your wishes and more.

I was i disappointed in our dry prime rib we had on Friday night! It was so dry we could hardly eat it…will not be back…the cost was outrageous for what we got! So sad and angry!

Hate to publicize this, but here’s the deal - I like a laid back, easy going atmospheres that are relaxing, offer a beautiful view (besides the wife) and where you’re not pushed out to turn tables. The kitchen is great (friday prime rib, call ahead) and breakfast is reasonably priced and great quality (any scramble or bacon/eggs /coffee). They typically service golfers and aren’t focused on making the restaurant a thing. They have occasional events, but the pace, people and cast iron rocking chairs misted in the summer are pretty fabulous.

Went golfing and had a great time. Stopped at the “restaurant “ after for a bite to eat. Apparently some issue with the water? Can’t get a hot dog????? Had to get some horrific over priced food that anyone can put in a fryer! Hopefully one of these days they actually get a true restaurant there!! I will NEVER eat there again!!! You spend so much money to golf but the other amenities are horrible!!

The food was disappointing and very expensive for what we got. We originally wanted their hot dog (have had before and they are excellent), but we were told that they had a water issue so they couldn’t offer the hot dog. Not sure what water has to do with making a hot dog, they can be grilled, microwaved or fried (yes they offered fried food)! They need to have a true restaurant there, it’s ridiculous that they charge so much for golf but only have a limited food selection.
Friendly, efficient servers. Stunning view of Columbia valley. Only disappointment was that about 10% of spinach leaves in salad should have been discarded. A little more attention to that in kitchen is necessary.

The appetizers were delicious. The chicken parm was a little dry and overcooked. I really liked the cheesecake, but it was really strong on the lemon (which I like). They make a really good margarita too. The view from the patio is gorgeous. The staff is super nice.
Parking: The walk from parking lot is a bit of an incline. If you have trouble walking, you might want to be let out at the front door.
