Service was a fast and efficient. Did not have to wait long to get in to see her.
Very nice staff
On each and every appointment I have been welcomed by very pleasant staff. There has never been a sales pitch or attempt to get me to upgrade or spend unneeded money. I am pleased I found Hometown Hearing and did not join in the Costco experience.
Everyone was super friendly staff & My Doctor very professional & informative & very helpful with my insurance company Thank you everyone at Hometown Hearing.
I went here because my husband had a great experience with his provider and suggested I try it. I have used Costco for hearing aids for years but these were the newest and "greatest" available, so I went for it.
They really tried to make these work but the Starkey hearing aids that fit inside the ear canal are fraught with problems. They are the "newest technology" so my providers were unable to make the "select" changes apparently available with this new , get this, AI technology; and had to contact the source in Minnesota or Missouri or whatever. Those midwestern folks were fabulous, but I had to go into the local shop for any changes, so LOTS of travel time to do this and try booking the time with the provider and we are talking 2-3 weeks to get this appointment.
The hearing aids do a lot of "chatter' between themselves that sound like bubbles, crackles and sounds like little chicks that you bring home from the farm store. They also dim down what they think you might not want to hear... but do. I play violin and they were never able to give me anywhere near accurate sounds of the violin which was one of the MAIN reasons I was trying these particular new hearing aids.
I gave up yesterday. I am returning to Costco and am going with ReSound ( again; this is what I currently have but they are 4 years old) and am hoping they have rechargeable capability and maybe the nice activity monitoring ( walking 10,000 steps) that the Starkeys had. If not, the ReSound at least, make a violin sound like a violin instead of an underwater bubbling sound. The folks at Hometown Hearing are nice. The hearing aids are not.
Hearing is a supremely special sense; hearing aids ( and I have worn several different kinds for the last 26 years) DISTORT sound. Especially music, so my quest might be different from other people but given that, I also want to hear what people say to me and at 60% LOSS, that's really getting harder and harder.
I'm hoping for more research for those of us with my kind of hearing loss.
I’ve been trying to coordinate with Hometown hearing to get replacement hearing aids for my 88-year-old father Who has done business with them for many years.. It’s all through an LI claim so they sent the paperwork off to the state requesting replacement hearing aids. That was approximately four months ago and I haven’t heard anything from them. I have called follow back up with them. I get the voicemail I leave a message. I get no call back. I get a text reply saying that they’re busy with another customer and that I can text them so I text and I got no reply. I’m done with them. I will take our business elsewhere and will not recommend Hometown Hearing to anyone.
Very poor secretarial help. Lost files no follow up to phone calls or texts
Very good technician help and service
I was seen at Hometown Hearing by Cherly, she took the time to explain not only my need for hearing aids but why and how they worked. She was kind and took the extra steps to make sure i received only the best.
Only an intern available but she solved my biggest problem by cleaning the hearing aids. Couldn't give 5 stars because no one was there that could adjust the balance between the hearing aids or any other adjustments. someone should have probably warned me that there were no personnel qualified to adjust the hearing aids as we come from 65 miles away, might have been worth rescheduling had I known.
They all work hard to help each patients needs, very professional and very understanding.

Professional, congenial and relaxed.
Hometown hearing goes the extra mile to help their patients.
At Hometown Hearing the whole staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. Being new to hearing enhancement, I have had a number of questions that I felt were rather ignorant or dumb. However, the staff is always gracious and helpful. They truly are always trying to help in every way they can. I appreciate everyone I have come into contact there!
