Phenomenal flavors on the pupusas, and the fried chicken with rice and beans. The preparation took a while but this is to order food and not fast food so it was a great experience. This place makes wish I lived in the area. I've never had a pupusa before. It was excellent, paired with a chichen tamale, which was doughier than Mexican tamales, but good too. The folks there were so gracious and the prices good too.
This is a very simple, authentic Central American style restaurant. The staff are from Honduras and El Salvador, and food is made from scratch in the traditional style. Sauces are excellent, and even the frozen desserts are made in-house. Prices are very fair. Much of their business is take out. They have many customers in the community, which is always a good sign. We love the papusas and tamales, and will be back for sure.
